Our stay was horrific. The first night we felt a strange smell and strong(paint or gas) in the room we called reception to get someone on the room about the smell. At first he said he didn’t feel anything when we ask again he changed his opinion. After, they told as it was pesticide while smilling like it was normal… and it was put at 22pm- that’s outrageous! They didn’t inform anyone. They changed us to another room which was way worst… had bats on the balcony. After all that we didn’t get any refund. Bad staff and bad accomodities. Shamefull!!!!!

I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Santhi and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The property was unclean and poorly maintained, with visible mold and cockroaches in multiple areas. The food hygiene was unacceptable — I found dead flies in the meal that was served, and the breakfast buffet had fruits infested with ants and flies.

The kitchen staff was polite, but there were very limited vegetarian options, and I strongly advise against booking with dinner included — it’s simply not worth it.

The hotel environment was extremely noisy, especially around the pool area, which felt more like a school playground with too many unsupervised kids running around. The overall atmosphere did not resemble a relaxing or welcoming hotel experience at all.

Honestly, I don’t believe this property meets even basic hospitality standards. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you value cleanliness, peace, and decent food hygiene.

A Great Experience
Pros:

The friendliest staff! Nothing was too much trouble. My plane was delayed and I was frazzled when I got here, but it wasn't long before I was able to relax and enjoy my visit. Thank you everyone for looking after me so well 🙏
It's been nearly 40 years since I was last in Bali and this trip is long overdue

Quite good room and clean
Pros:

The pillow are fluffy and also room is really clean plus the air conditioner is cold and clean bed and environment. Overall of the service and also the room i can rate by 5 stars. Would like to come here more often for a night and also have a vacation
