Pros:

The hotel was better than we expected, especially for the price compared to others. The beds were super comfortable and rooms really clean. The staff were also so nice and accommodating, providing real customer service. Location was fantastic too.

Fantastic good value luxurious stay
Pros:

Very spacious and comfortable room
Bed was super comfy
Balcony was a nice addition.
Kitchen well equipped and coffee machine was a great bonus.
Bathroom had everything you needed and soap smelt gorgeous
Loved the 11am check out time!

Cons:

Because I like reading I thought the lamps throughout the room could have been a bit brighter

overall, for the room and location, it's good value
Pros:

excellent location, heaps of eating options around
Room is spacious, clean
staff are very friendly
good value for room and location

Cons:

Bed is toooo soft, shower leaks, the mini bar which occupies the whole fridge, if you want to put your own drink or food, you have to contact the hotel to remove the mini bar which is a bit annoying

Great location, rooms and service
Pros:

Fantastic location, close to Braddon bars and restaurants and the city centre. Spotlessly clean room, really comfy bed, great bathroom with nice towels and toiletries. Good wifi and reverse cycle aircon (important in Canberra). Nice little balcony area. Great restaurant at the back. Nice staff.

Cons:

$20 per night for parking. Would be nice to be included in room rate

Darren. The maintenance man was brilliant. Out TV was not working on arrival and he fixed it and then went on to guide

Pros:

A greatly located hotel close to restaurants and shops The Avenue didn't disappoint. We always stay here when coming to Canberra. The beds are the softest, most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The 2 bedroom apartment is roomy with 2 separate lockable rooms, perfect for 2 couples or family as they can be locked with the main door also. The kitchen has everything we need for a quick breakfast before we head out for the day.
Check in is easy and parking underneath.

Great Hotel at an amazing price!!
Pros:

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at this lovely hotel. When we arrived we received a free upgrade which was a very pleasant surprise.

The hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk to the Canberra Centre where you will find some nice restaurants and all the shops you need. There are also some good vibe pubs within a 5 minute walk. The hotel is very modern and clean. Parking underneath is also a great facility.

We had breakfast one morning and it was great. A chef to make you eggs of your choice and then all the things you'd expect from a buffet ie mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, yoghurts, bacon etc etc. I would most definitely recommend Avenue Hotel to everyone and would stay there again if returning to Canberra.
