Amazing vie on the sea. Should have a car to access it.
Some furnitures were a bit old and dirty with stains on the sofa for example. No gym facility.
The food was not flexible for specific dietary and was difficult to find any alternative around.

No hay piscina ni tienen red en la playa para asegurar el baño sin accidentes.
We had a very spacious room with a lovely view over the ocean. Staff were great and organised a snorkelling trip for us to the Kemara Islands. We had a rental car (which you need really) and parking is easy at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were included and the food was exceptional. I asked for vegetarian in advance and it was beautiful. So much care had been taken to effectively give me the same food as my son who I was travelling with, but a vegetarian version of it. Loved it here and enjoyed the boutique exclusive vibe relative to the big commercial resorts that tend to dominate Okinawa.
Kleines, sehr privates Ressort mit exzellentem 5-Sterne Niveau in Bezug auf Freundlichkeit, Service, Privatsphäre, und Einrichtung. Insbesondere das Frühstück wie auch das mehrgängige Abendessen waren jeden einzelnen Tag ein kulinarisches Erlebnis auf höchstem Niveau; sehr lokale und Japanische Küche.

To say we enjoyed our stay at Hyakuna Garan is a massive understatement. Staying here was a sublime experience which I recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing and rejuvenating stay on Okinawa.
The Hotel is immaculate, featuring an incredible restaurant, spa facilities, private open-air baths, a library, art gallery, zen room and more. Even if you are staying for a few days, you may struggle to appreciate everything that is on offer!
Our room was spacious, with an excellent view of the ocean and was cleaned and re-stocked daily. The staff were attentive to a level I've never experienced, they elevated the entire experience with their kindness and professionalism.
There are plenty of things to do around Hyakuna Garan, from relaxing at Mibaru Beach to exploring important historical sites such as Sefa-Utaki. Striking a balance between enjoying the hotel and everything Nanjo has to offer can be a challenge!
Every day, we were lucky to experience freshly prepared meals that introduced us to foods and flavors that you couldn't possibly experience anywhere else. The dining experiences were perfect bookends to incredible days.
Hotels are so often a forgettable place you stay at while travelling. Hyakuna Garan is an unforgettable place worth travelling for.

Traditional local food and friendly staff
This is marked by Bookings as a 5* hotel, but it is barely a 4* in our view.
> Facilities are not clean and very old (see pictures, full of dirt under the bed and above furniture, mold on the walls and near AC
> No private beach, gym, room service that would generally be part of a 5* experience. Half the staff doesn’t speak English, even if very nice and helpful.
> Not in a nice area, and wrong side of the island for a beach island location. And their private beach is not cleaned, and someone can’t swim in it
> Lastly, on the Bookings website it said that a bottle of champagne is part of the package, but this is in fact a cheap unknown sparkling wine.
Albergo molto zen , silenzioso e rilassante, posizione spettacolare, personale gentilissimo, cucina ottima.
The food was wonderful and the staff were very expectant of our needs. The outdoor private bathing areas available for use were also great. We had asked for a taxi service for our departure and they had one ready for us.
Some parts of the location felt old and could be updated. For example, the couch in our room seemed to worn enough for replacement. There were some places under construction . The climate of the location was very humid so it seemed there was some difficulty in managing this. The massage services are brought from outside the hotel so setting up a reservation time took a little bit. Their reflexology service was very light, so it would be good if this was explained in the service menu.
