Good basic accommodation for short stay.
Pros:

The room was basic in layout but nicely decorated. The fridge was really good and large and there were tea and coffee and a toaster. The microwave was missing when we arrived but the owner/manager immediately went and got one for the room which we appreciated very much. Water was nice and hot and good pressure. I appreciated the two bottles of water in the fridge as it was a hot day. There’s a pool which we didn’t use but looked appealing. The security gate was great. Staff were lovely and so helpful.

Cons:

It was an upstairs room which I don’t normally like but it wasn’t a problem. The staff offered to help with luggage which was thoughtful.

Basic accommodation with everything we need.. just could use a could clean and some maintenance.
Pros:

It’s a fairly secure property after hours having a locked high gate with metal blades on top of the fence so we are somewhat safe in this location.

Cons:

The aircons in both rooms weren’t working properly so we removed the dirty filters which fixed the problem.. the cleanliness of the rooms are questionable, shower area had toothpaste on the walls from the previous guest. Also the blanket on the bed could use a wash.

The staff were very helpful. Secure , locked gates at night. Good aircon.

There isn't enough parking, but thankfully, we were helped by staff to get a secure park for the night.

Cons:

The secure car park had lost most of its seal, so there were no marked bays making it crowded and difficult to park. The premises was noisy with unruly family groups. The staff were slow to respond to out of hours issues. Daily servicing of the room consisted of replacing towels. We were there for 7 days and would have appreciated beds being remade at least once. They operate a takeaway food business and an accounting practice from the same premises, but having seen the kitchen I would not trust the food.

Nice secure place to stay in Katherine
Pros:

Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom with hot water. Very helpful receptionist guy that helped carry the luggage upstairs. That was a lovely thing to do and most helpful. Thankyou! Locked gates at night. Large fridge.

Cons:

Needed a bit more lighting. Leaving early in the morning on the top floor with no lights was hard - very dangerous going down the stairs. The room kitchen facilities were a bit inadequate - would’ve been better if one space was designated for kitchen ware etc. ( instead of the bedside draw ) Also a larger table would’ve been better ( there was plenty of room) instead of a tiny coffee table to eat off. Just our feedback.
