Aloft Denver Downtown

Best bartender downtown. Isabella was so accommodating! Very well versed on drinks and suggestions.

The bed was very comfortable as was the shower. I loved the TV with streaming options. The staff was the best part. The young woman who worked at the front desk most of my visit was excellent. She was super pleasant, personable, helpful and kind.

Isabella, the bartender, was FANTASTIC!!!! Such a fun time, made our Superbowl Sunday! Loved the Green Tea Shots & stories about Dolly!

Fantastic stay!! A special shout out to Isabella in the bar who made the Super Bowl experience fantastic even though I was away from my crowd. Very great experience and one I wasn’t expecting at all!

My stay at Aloft Denver Downtown was from January 27 - 29 was underwhelming and disappointing mainly due to the front desk experience. I could have done better staying at AC Hotel Denver Downtown which is just across the street!

What went well:
- Mimie at the front desk, she handled my check in, she was efficient, professional and friendly. She offered drink vouchers for each night.
- The bartenders - Dustin and the other lady, they were attentive, friendly and represented the brand very well.
- The lobby chocolate chip cookies at check-in were a nice touch.

Where things fell apart:
- Several front desk staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in guests. No greetings. No eye contact. No acknowledgement when people entered/exited the lobby - and I watched this happen repeatedly.
- On the first night, I called the front desk, but no one picked up my call - their line kept ringing. I will give them a pass, maybe they were still checking guests.
- On checkout morning, a front desk associate (she had long acrylic nails decorated with a bow) made direct eye contact with me, then immediately turned back to her phone instead of helping. Another staff member stepped in.
- The overall professionalism and appearance of the front desk team did not reflect the standards I have come to expect from a Marriott property.

For context during the same trip, I stayed at AC Hotel Denver Downtown, SpringHill Suites in Fort Collins and Courtyard by Marriott on 16th Street. All three delivered noticeably better hospitality and guest engagement. Even the hotel's follow - up email address me by name rather than Aloft's generic "Dear Guest".

Bottom line:
Aloft has a great downtown location, but the service culture needs immediate attention. The lack of hospitality at the front desk overshadowed what could have been a much better stay.

Loooonnng day at work, was great to stop in for a quick bite, great service, and conversation.

The staff were excellent! Went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was at a trade show at the Convention Centre and it was super close. I needed a HDMI Cable after forgetting mine at home. The staff let me use theirs! I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff, Dennis, Ashlee, and Mimie were incredibly welcoming and professional. They made check-in smooth, answered all our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Truly exceptional service!"

John Ramirez the security guard helped us out so much when we had issues with our room. Service was absolutely fantastic. We really appreciated the help of all the staff.

Everyone was amazing, especially Senai in Valet! My NYE was very special there attending the music festival at the convention center nearby.
