No frills everything you need
Pros:

Near some main areas. Provided simple accommodations that was all I was looking for. Bed, shower, WiFi, tv, and bar/restaurant on premise.

Terrible hotel I will ever recommend to someone
Pros:

I booked this hotel on line before I left USA, thinking that it would be exactly as advertised on line. I paid my fees as requested and hoped that I would find the room I paid for. Reaching there I couldn't believe it was the same hotel I saw on line.The taxi could not even find a space to unload the luggage . The place in a deep gator where it is impossible to even walk on the street.However, the most terrifying part was that the room I paid for had already been rented to some one yet I paid for the whole 13 days.Getting into the substitute room allocated to me on the spot, I and taxi driver noticed that there was no hot water, broken lamps in the room and abed which looks like it had not been made for some time or some body just used it and nobody dared to prepare it.When I asked for the manager, the counter people told me that the manager had left for the and wont be back until tomorrow. I left the hotel right a way and rented a hotel elsewhere. I called next day and asked for the manager to call me for the refund. Up to now, I haven't heard from anybody.

Loud nightclub district.
Pros:

Hotel was OK but it's in the nightclub district. Pounding bass and loud music until about 3:00AM. Difficult to sleep!

Good hotel but bad location
Pros:

Very decent hotel with good service. The wi-fi is good. The DSTV was good. The rooms are small, but if you are traveling on business you won't spend much time there. Good security and the showers always had very warm or hot water. However, the neighborhood is very very difficult. Loud, crowded, lots of fighting during the day and night because of the matatus and the night clubs. If you like to party and will be moving through the area on foot, then the traffic and noise won't bother you. If you need to get in a vehicle, you will have a very difficult time. I'm not sure how other reviewers measure distance, but this hotel is not "just a few blocks" from the CBD. The CBD is about 2 miles away from this hotel.
