We recently stayed at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa for three nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, along with our 3-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be an absolutely memorable experience.
Check-in process was very good, We were explained properly and escorted to our room which was already decorated with balloons. They had our anniversary cake and some desserts waiting for in the room. The view from the room was fantastic overlooking the mountains. In fact the location of the hotel slightly away from main mussoorie market area towards Kempty Falls.
They had impressive breakfast buffet spread, all the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. They even insisted and packed fruits, cakes etc as they saw our toddler who was being very fussy every time.
The hill station weather caught up on us and the team ensured that we were served hot toddy & Kaadha sent to our room everyday. Few names which we remember from the staff who deserve special mention- Riya, Pratiksha, Shivani, Jayant, Abhishek..
One area for improvement, it would be the kids’ play area (both indoor and outdoor). We noticed that many activities were chargeable. Having stayed at other premium properties like Taj Hotels, where most children’s activities are included, it would be great to see more complimentary options for kids here as well.
Overall things were top notch, amazing hospitality, definitely recommending my friends and family. 5 out of 5 stars !!

My wife and I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove and we had an awesome time! As a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Platinum Elite, I have had the opportunity to stay at several properties worldwide, and can say without a doubt that this experience was one of the best.

From the moment we had booked the reservation , the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care from the staff stood out. A special mention to Abhishek, who was consistently helpful and made everything feel smooth and effortless. We also want to sincerely thank Pratiksha (Front Office Manager) for her attention to detail and calm, caring leadership is clearly reflected in how beautifully the entire team ( Rounik, Deepika and others) operates.

One of the biggest highlights for us was the food.. What made it even more special was the personal care from the chefs. Sous Chefs Shiv Singh , Manoj and Lovkal went above and beyond to understand our individual preferences and ensure that every dish matched our taste. In the JW restaurant, the warmth and service were equally memorable. Jyoti, Antra and Sonali deserves a special mention.

The yoga and meditation sessions by Anjali were peaceful and rejuvenating , a perfect way to start the day in the mountains and slow down in the best possible.

Excellent Property with Excellent Service. Very good location. Luxury property with Luxurious service. All the staff at the Front Desk, Dining places, Breakfast, High Tea place all were very nice & warm. The room was excellent & very comfortable. And the bathroom also was very nice & big. Very hot water in the cool weather & very good water pressure was fun to have bath. Had a chance to meet & talk with Chef Vikesh Rathor during my breakfast & he too was so good & warm in talking. Loved the Bagels & Cream Cheese at the breakfast. They were too soft & excellent. Also had dinner at the Indian restaurant which was very good. The Front Office manager Pratiksha Pais too was very helpful in booking at appointment at the SPA before we reached the property.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort! The property is beautifully maintained with lots of greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. There are plenty of amenities, especially for kids, which made our family vacation even more enjoyable. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay, and a special thanks to FOM Pratiksha, who was truly awesome and made our experience even more memorable. We would definitely love to visit again!

Exceptional Housekeeping from Saurav Kumar – Made Our Stay Unforgettable!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and much of that credit goes to Saurav Kumar, the Housekeeping Incharge. From the moment we arrived, Saurav went above and beyond to ensure our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly tailored to our needs. His attention to detail was impeccable – fresh linens, thoughtful amenities, and daily touches that made us feel truly cared for.

What really blew us away was how he handled our special request to decorate the room for a surprise celebration. Saurav not only accommodated it with enthusiasm but transformed the space into something magical, complete with personalized touches that made the occasion extra special. His warm smile, professionalism, and genuine hospitality turned a great stay into a memorable one.

If you're staying here, ask for Saurav – he's a gem! 5 stars all the way.

Right from Checkin to room service, food service team to the valet team everyone had an infectious and energetic smile on their face and were willing to go beyond the ordinary to make our stay an amazing experience. Would love to come back again.

Location is really in the nature with pleasant weather.
