Great location, good variation on the breakfast.

Cons:

The curtains didn't cover all the windows fully so the light always sipped through in the mornings and wasn't possible to make it fully dark. Also light from the walkway outside shined into the room at night. The bathroom didn't have a bar soap holder for the sink and only bar soap was provided and no liquid hand soap.

Goed voor een nacht, maar niet langer.
Pros:

Locatie is direct aan het strand, wat echt een dikke plus is. De stranden in Thailand zijn prachtig om te zien. Aan het strand zit hun restaurant, waar ze prima (niet bijzonder) eten serveren. Uitzicht over het water is prachtig.

Cons:

Het huisje is verouderd, een ouder en vooral vieze klamboe hangt over het bed tegen de muggen waar doodgeslagen muggen nog tegenaan plakken. De badkamer is verouderd, maar vooral ook niet netjes meer. Spiegels kapot, verouderd toilet. Het personeel is niet per definitie uitnodigend. Wij zijn er maar een nacht geweest waardoor het prima was, maar ik zou hier geen twee weken verblijven.

L’emplacement en bord de mer très appréciable, personnel très gentil et serviable. Un taxi nous avait été réservé tôt le matin pour un départ en excursion, on s’est bien occupé de nous

L’hôtel est l’ami des scarabées, il y en avait partout, autant mon mari a adoré autant moi j’en avais une peur panique ! Les chambres sont très sommaires en équipement (manque coffre fort, pas de meuble dans la salle de bain, vieux meuble en bois...) la literie est assez ancienne. Beaucoup d’insectes dans les logements (araignée, cafard, scarabée..) faut pas avoir peur …!

Pros:

L emplacement est top, sur la plage dans un jardin très bien entretenu.
Le monsieur de l accueil est très gentil, il s est occupé de nous louer les scooter et réserver le bateau pour Koh phi phi.

Notre case était vieillote, deco à revoir, les lits sont dur et la climatisation difficile à régler

Right on the beach and the restaurant had lots of choice! Easy to book taxis and sort laundry through the lovely Reception Team! Clean sheets in the room. Nice chairs outside in the porch.

Cons:

Ants and cockroaches in the bathroom, old and ripped beach towels, power cuts and the toilet blocked up (the lovely cleaners were so kind and helped us with this though). The mosquito net didn’t come down far enough over the whole bed so there were gaps. The bed and pillows were hard and the duvet layers would come apart to reveal a fuzzy blanket.

Das Personal und der Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Uns wurde bei allen Anliegen (v. a. für unsere Weiterreise) geholfen und wir wurden gut beraten.
Das Essen im Restaurant beim Hotel ist sehr lecker und es hat eine vielseitige Auswahl.
Man kann direkt vor Ort einen Roller mieten, was sehr unkompliziert abläuft.
Frühstück war sehr lecker, v. a. die Thaigerichte die sie jeden Tag wechseln.

Cons:

Das Bett war etwas klein und das Mückennetz konnte nicht zugemacht werden, weil es zu klein für den Rahmen vom Bettgestell ist. Es hatte jedoch im Zimmer keine Mücken.

Einfach perfekt ... ein Lieblings-Ressort!
Pros:

Wir verbrachten 4 1/2 Tage im Sayang (es hätte mehr sein sollen!). Die Anlage ist schön und weitläufig, die Bungalows halten Abstand zu einander. Wir hatten einen "Superior de luxe" mit schöner dunkler Holz-Innenausstattung, nicht ganz billig aber im Ganzen vertretbar. Große gemütliche Betten und viel Platz! Das Frühstücksbüffet ist in Ordnung, man hat morgens auch bereits Thai-Speisen zur Auswahl. Die Entfernungen innerhalb der Anlage und zum Strand sind vergleichsweise kurz. Riesige Tamarisken prägen die beachfront der Anlage.
Die Zimmerreinigung arbeitet flink und zuverlässig.
Wir haben meist "auswärts" gegessen - die Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft direkt am Strand bieten exzellente Thai-Gerichte, mitunter auch indische Spezialitäten. Den Absacker nahmen wir dann an der gemütlichen Strandbar des Sayang.
Der Strand ist weitläufig, lang ("Long beach"), ich schätze 2,5 km, und sauber; es gibt belebtere Teile aber auch einsame. Nachmittags fliegt immer ein Adler (oder Milan?) den Strand rauf und runter. Nirgends ist der Strand mit Schirmen und Liegen zugepflastert. Der Saum des Strandes ist durchgängig grün (meist große Tamarisken), die Bebauung fast überall eingebettet im Grün. Die belebte Straße ist sicher 200 - 300 m weit weg und daher nicht zu hören.
Es gibt beeindruckende Sonnenuntergänge, das Wasser ist sauber und einladend.
Was unseren Aufenthalt so perfekt machte: Das Sayang, seine Lage und Umgebung gaben uns genau den richtigen Mix aus unbeschwertem, urigen Inselgefühl auf der einen Seite und bester Versorgung auf der anderen. Ein Glücksfall aus unserer Sicht.

Emplacement exceptionnel, à quelques pas de la plage. Les bungalows sont très confortables et spacieux. .
Nous avons loué un scooter directement avec le resort ce qui était très pratique.
Le personnel est super gentil et disponible. Le petit déjeuner buffet est très bien. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
