Location was great, staff were 10/10 helpful and friendly.
As soon as you left the foyer the rest of the property was dirty and run down. Elevator looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years and even though the bathrooms had been re vamped all the grouting in the shower was mouldy. Balcony’s had years worth of dirt on them so it wasn’t an option to open the doors.

We originally booked 5 days for our stay the later decided to add 2 more days, one to the beginning and one to the end of the stay. A month out I asked if those booking had been linked and I was told they were but day two of coming back to out rooms we had to go through the process of reactivating our room cards as we had been locked out with our belonging inside and then had to do it again on our second last day! It made an already stressful week just that little bit more annoying. The rooms were also very unclean, the bathrooms were disgusting and there was even USED BANDAINDS under our bed! We ended up buying our own wipes to clean things down. We did speak to them about the uncleanliness of the rooms and they couldn't offer us another room as fully booked (which I understand) but I dont think it would have improved the cleanliness. They also offered a 'deep clean' of the two rooms that were booked but unsure if that was communicated to the proper people as it never happened. We have also previously stayed here before and paid less that time but had more space and amenities than this time! No microwave so you're forced to either call them or take the elevator down and make the staff heat up food. The cafe attached is closed and when asked if it would be reopening they just shrugged and said the Chef left and may or may not come back.
We also had issue with the TV, two of the nights the chromecast was unable to use and one night we would turn off the TV and it would randomly turn on at full volume and channels would change like someone else was using it! We ended up having to unplug the whole thing from the wall.
I've previously left a positive review about this place so unsure what's changed or if they were struggling with a busy week but we definitely over paid and probably wont be staying with them again. Probably only good for a short stay, I wouldn't recommend them if you're planning for a relaxing stay.

Only thing that was slightly annoying was housekeeping. The glasses in the room weren’t cleaned or replaced. One day they showed up at 4:30. TV sometimes didn’t work week. But otherwise no major issues.

Lack of cups, plates etc. Considering there was a dish washer it would make more sense to have more than one cup, glass, plate etc per person.
