The location was ok but this is overpriced for room value unless it is a view of the river.
Pros:

Bathroom size and shower size very nice.

Cons:

The junior suite with city view was not worth over 500. The view of some rooftops of nearby buildings. The bed was too low to floor. Breakfast didn't include hot food selection.

Pros:

La situation géographique excellente, Le personnel très serviable et aimable, le petit déjeuner avec de très bons produits. Le lit très confortable. Le fait de laisser la voiture au parking Claramatte et n'avoir qu'un forfait de chf 30 pour le séjour (à condition de laisser la voiture sur place) à payer directement à l'hotel et le reste du temps les déplacements en transports publics gratuits (titres de transports délivrés à la réception).

Cons:

La salle de bain minuscule sans crochets, juste une barre qui peut recevoir 2 grands linges. Les petits linges n'avaient aucun endroit de suspension. Impossible de laisser 2 trousses de toilettes dans cette si petite salle de bain. Compliqué de faire sécher d'autres les linges de bains ou maillots de bain, par ex en cas de baignade dans le Rhin. Dommage le reste était parfait.

Der Fluß, die Aussicht der Orr

Wundervolles Haus, gepflegtes Ambiente, sehr gute Küche, Frühstück zur Freude aller Sinne, die Aussicht ist unschlagbar, die Lage perfekt, was will man mehr.

Cons:

Winziges Detail, hab es aber schon dem Personal gesagt.

Ein wunderbares bijoux in Basel
Pros:

Das Frühstück ist wie immer wunderbar und man fühlt sich immer wie zuhause. Von der wunderbaren Lage direkt am Rhein gar nicht zu sprechen. Ein Juwel.

Cons:

Wahrscheinlich sollte trotz aller denkmalschutzpflegerischen Belange doch über Klimaanlagen nachgedacht werden.

Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our flight was delayed and they were sympathetic. The hotel is old and protected. The room was large and did not have fancy equipment but was nice with a view of the Rhine.

As others have commented while breakfast was ok it was expensive for the limited choice and especially as there was much competition nearby.

Would recommend if you like friendly stuff and atmosphere, not if you want all the gadgets on the room

10/10 dzięki przemyślanym detalom: kod QR do WiFi przy zameldowaniu; zatyczki do uszu w pokoju; butelka wody gratis przy wymeldowaniu; darmowe napoje na każdym piętrze (samoobsługa: kawa, herbata, woda, inne chłodne napoje); wygodne i działające wymeldowanie online; wentylator w pokoju wobec braku klimatyzacji. Pokój był czysty, łazienka nieskazitelna i wyposażona w bardzo dobre kosmetyki. Na każdym piętrze dostępne były też gry planszowe. Śniadanie miało wszystko, co niezbędne - m.in. jajka, łososia, owoce i warzywa - ale to właśnie różnorodność śniadania poprawiłbym w pierwszej kolejności.

Cons:

Pokój może być głośny - przez prace budowlane po drugiej stronie ulicy albo przez ludzi imprezujących na zewnątrz. Nie ma klimatyzacji. Obie te rzeczy są w dużej mierze poza kontrolą hotelu.
