Couldn't lock my room's door. A lot of stairs, no transportation from the check-in area to the hillside, pool closed too early. Same price you could pick a better place in the area. Room was clean but I will never stay here again.
No good
No elevator. Walk upstairs and down stairs not safe for elderly travelers. Too hot. I would not come back again sorry
Lovely place to stay. Mercure is the only hotel with private beach in Vung Tau. If you prefer privacy and cleanliness, choose this hotel!
Except for the late checking in - my mom (over 80 yrs) and me couldn’t have the room until 2:30pm, I found it a nice place to stay for short vacations. I expected better explanation for the late as the date we were there in the middle of the week (Wednesday).
I was very satisfied with the location, as it was very quiet and faced a beautiful sea. In fact, this was my second stay, as I had stayed here once before, and I am very pleased again. There is also a place called Ho May Park nearby, which I believe would be enjoyable even if you bring children along.
Beware of all the stairs.
It was good. The stairs were a big reason why i wouldnt return
I liked the outlook, the view the soundif the waves rolling in. The food waa also good.
The Stairs were a nightmare. Dont you dare leave anything in your room..itll cost you 100 stairs to return.
Great hotel clean, services, and great location
The most beautiful hotel! We loved staying here - the pools and ocean views were unreal! Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Outstanding property, rooms, and amenities!
The hotel staff were really nice and so helpful. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Gym was well equipped and pool was also very, very nice. I found the food / drinks terrace needed some love and repairs to tables, chairs, parasol's.
Such a relaxing experience. The hotel is situated right on the Vung Tau coast with serene views over the China Sea. The rooms are modern and immaculate and the buildings are French colonial, nestled amongst beautiful gardens, and with an infinity pool and children’s shallower pool. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant was varied and plentiful. Staff were very and helpful, particularly Trieu and Coang, not forgetting the lifesavers who looked after the beach and pool areas. Book a room on the sea side rather than ‘hillside’ and request a room with sea views. The sunsets are amazing as an amber then red sun sinks beneath the sea. Easy walk or ride to local shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.
The surroundings of the property are so beautiful naturally
The sea view is wonderful
But the rooms lack privacy and are not convenient .
There are stairs everywhere , no elevator.
Very nice place right on the beach. Great food, attentive staff. Good place to unwind for a couple of days.
Private beach, outstanding staff, swimming pool, nice fitness room. But I did not like loud and too much noise around the facilities, such as the buffet room and swimming pool.
Please tell your guests to lower their voice when talking. After all, this is a hotel, not a private home. Thanks
Need to improve the bath room
I was not happy with the check-in. When I booked the hotel on Expedia web, the photos show the room has balcony but when I was there, they assigned a room without balcony for me. Consequently, I had to pay extra money so they could upgrade me to a room with balcony.
Secondly, some foods for buffet breakfast are not good, especially the cold foods (banh cuon, banh beo, cha lua).
I hope to see they improve their services if I come to stay next time.
Started from a great check-in. asked the room preference (quiet) and assigned the perfect building. Dinner and breakfast are nice mix of Vietnamese, SE Asia and Western. Good walking along the coast in early morning.
