Absolutely unbeatable location, whatever your needs.
Pros:

The location is absolutely unbeatable for Newcastle. 2 minutes from the Quayside, a fantastic Italian restaurant across the road, a great, converted, traditional bar next door, the whole city centre 3 minutes uphill. Add in the Centre rail station, with trains to the whole of the UK (Edinburgh only £10) plus Tyneside Metro 5 minutes walk from the hotel and it's quite amazing.

Cons:

It's actually all good. I think that for users of 2 pin EU/South Asian etc phone chargers then the desk could easily have a couple of adapters for loan.

Pros:

Room was clean, it was a very central property and the staff were amazing!! Extremely good value for money, so so glad I stayed the night!! I am a female solo traveller and was only staying for one night, the staff were amazing and gave me lots of good recommendations for food and little hidden gems! Absolutely recommend!!

Cons:

Room was a little bit small, I was staying alone so it was absolutely fine for me but when travelling with someone else maybe check at reception about room size. Reception are extremely helpful, don’t let room size be a deterrent!!!

Well placed in city centre, walking distance to transport links.
Pros:

Very good location as it is in the city centre, in walking distance to railway station. Nice welcome but there is no kettle in the room and the hot water dispenser wasn't working. Room was clean and tidy and warm enough. Bathroom very good, towels more than adequate.
Definitely very good vale for money.

Cons:

A kettle in the room or a hot water dispenser that worked would have been good!

Cons:

Not much really although, we didn't have a window. But!!! We didn't need one. Only stayed one night. Left early for work.

Do not stay here, no matter how cheap it is.

Location was really good and the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

Beds were v uncomfy, pillows and duvet were as flat as pancakes and it was cold in there. I had to have the heating on blast. Was v dirty under the bed and desk and there was a few hairs in the shower. Crumbling plaster on walls and just overall it didn't feel clean.

Walls are paper thin, could hear the lads TWO doors down having a wee party and then someone's phone across the hall was going off but the person must've been absolutely passed out cus it just kept going and going.

I would rather pay double for a decent room than the cheapness of this room.
