A beautiful colonial gem in the heart of Zona Colonial
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Mosquito Boutique Hotel. The hotel is a charming Spanish-style colonial house with a lovely internal courtyard full of tropical plants, creating a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms open onto balconies surrounding the courtyard, which gives the hotel a very special character.
Although we stayed in a small standard double room, it had everything we needed: comfortable bed, good air conditioning, TV with Netflix, YouTube and Amazon, toiletries, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay.
On the top floor there is a small pool/jacuzzi area which was incredibly refreshing to use in the afternoons after walking around the city.
The staff were very kind and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and complete, and the location is excellent — within walking distance of all the main attractions in Zona Colonial, with many great restaurant options nearby.
We would definitely return!

Nos desilusionó un poco el desayuno pues nos habíamos quedado días antes en el hotel mosquito de Playa Bonita y el desayuno era infinitamente mejor.
The property is beautiful, the food and restaurant/bar is great. Good breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The noise. Loud music of the area can be heard through 3 am. Every night making it hard to have a good night rest after a full day of exploring.

La recepción fue muy mala .
Llegamos después de muchas horas de viaje , cuando quise pagar con dólares , la recepcionista nos dijo que no tenía vuelto. Que fuéramos a buscar nosotros, porque sino no podíamos alejarnos . Fue muy feo, porque nosotros no teníamos la culpa, también le pedí dejarle la mitad d l pago hasta conseguir el resto. Así fue lo hicimos . Pero muy mala la atención .

No hay lugar para que un taxi se detenga frente al hotel y esto complica la logística para llegar e irse con el equipaje
La localización
En el anuncio la habitación dice que tiene 20 metros cuadrados pero en realidad tiene unos 9, con lo que casi ni tienes espacio para moverte. No tiene iluminación natural más allá de los cristales biselados de la puerta y el desayuno son huevos, en diferentes formas pero poco más.
Está ubicado en el centro colonial. Todo está cerca.

Hotel y habitaciones son preciosas
La primera persona que me atendió en front desk no fue del todo servicial y amables. Es importante comprender que muchas veces les visitarán turistas que están en la ciudad por primera vez y por ende existirán preguntas de parte de los huéspedes. Hay que tomarse el tiempo para responder y guiar a los huéspedes para que tengan una linda experiencia no solo en sus instalaciones sino en la ciudad como tal.
Restaurante/bar y la ubicación.
Es la segunda vez que llego, me encanta la ubicación que tiene, te permite ir a diferentes lugares de la zona colonial caminando. Tiene un bar restaurante que está muy lindo y muy buena comida.
En general no hay nada que me haya disgustado.
La ubicación, en plena zona colonial
No hay ascensor , tuvimos que subir al segundo piso que nos dieron las habitaciones con las maletas acuestas ,el lavabo de la habitación conforme habríamos el grifo se salía el agua por debajo, la cama súper pequeña para ser de matrimonio y súper blanda e incómoda , no dormimos en toda la noche , el desayuno que llevábamos incluido no era buffet solo te ofrecían 3 o 4 platos si querías algo diferente tenías que pagarlo aparte , lo único que tiene el bueno es el restaurante que la comida está muy buena

Nos dieron una habitación que había que subir escaleras, y con las maletas se hace muy tedioso, el desayuno es muy muy básico, la habitación pequeña
