Spark by Hilton Minot

Very clean. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Sorry didn’t stay long enough to try the breakfast . But the room and accommodations were great. I like the fact you have large enough parking, since I was pulling a 26’ trailer behind my truck.

The free breakfast was rather good, the lady checking us in was friendly. The room was solid, but nothing special really. Maybe the gazebo in the garden is a little bit original. The hotel could be anywhere, unfortunately there are no hotels downtown in Minot. I definitely recommend checking out the town. The town has some nice cafés, art museums and bookshop.

This was a budget friendly hotel, cheaper than the other hiltons in town. Wasn’t a terrible stay, as I had hot water and I was content with the continental breakfast they put out every morning.

The hotel itself was a little on the dirty side, they may need to work on some cleaning. My room had a bit of a smell and when I told them they simply said “I’m sorry, I hope you enjoyed your stay” I had another night left!

The laundry wasn’t free unfortunately, so be prepared to bring change, or go to a local laundromat.

The pool and fitness center were nothing to write home about. One treadmill isn’t really a fitness center.

I would stay again, but in a different room. I was across from the elevator and the housekeeping service area. So lots of movement and noises at all hours.

Clean, quiet, newly updated, great location, super friendly staff.

I was looking for something inexpensive and clean. This part fit the bill. The area was safe. I walked alone early in the mornings with no issues. Be aware, the breakfast is a cold breakfast. I was aware of this and was fine with it. Others, I met at the hotel were not aware. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, bagel with cream cheese options and a couple of other spreads, cereal, yogurt with granola option. My biggest problem was the hot water issue. Night one, my Mom had no hot water. The next morning, I did have hot water. That night, I had no hot water. The hotel gave us a room key to use a room next door. My Granddaugher and niece had hot water in that room. The next morning, I have hot water in our room. My Mom, not wanting to chance it, used the room next door...no hot water! The hotel did provide a partial refund on the bill. Would I stay here again? Maybe, as long as I see no reviews with recent hot water issues. It would be a real problem in the winter. Full disclosure, I am a travel agent. I was not traveling on a discount. I did not tell the hotel. I typically will travel without letting anyone know, just so I see how my clients would be treated here. I travel to this area frequently as I have a family member living here. I typically have stayed at the Country Inn & Suites, but, the reviews there have gone downhill.

Easy to find. Great location. Check in was a breeze. Both young people were very kind, helpful and polite. Room was spotless. Bed linens soft. Bathroom well stocked. Good towels. Must let water in shower RUN a long time to get above warm OR be the second one in the showet ; ) One thing I didn't like was the split bathroom. Sink outside where you can't use unless you wake everyone up. But thats just my preference.
Room was fairly dark and fairly quiet...but can hear neighbor noises/walking etc.
Free breakfast was only yogurt, cereals and bagels. A few fruits and hard boiled eggs. Juice milk coffee tea. Dining area very clean. Check out was just as easy.
We've never stayed at a Spark but it has the same quality as all other Hilton hotels.

The price

We thought that the location was great. Close enough to the main highway, yet in a quiet location!

The staff along with Booking.com were very accommodating. I booked the wrong day for my stay. Booking.com was able to change the day I was in Minot for my nights stay. Thank you ever so much!!! When I walked in I could smell the nice and refreshing odor. Our accommodations were great. Loved the layout of my room. I thought it was sweet, the TV showed welcome with my name displayed. Great idea!!! They served a healthy breakfast. I highly recommend Sparks by Hilton. You will not be disappointed!!!

A very knowlegable Lady with shoulder length hair, greeted me, * when I chose roo on the main floor, so I could get lots of rest, she suggested the 3rdforistead, as t he2spirys means, tend to get noisy gig back/forth to the pool concurred. & she was absolutely correct!
