Pros:

Local incrível, excelente pequeno almoço. Todos os funcionários extremamente cordiais e atenciosos, principalmente os meninos da recepção e o garçom. Vista maravilhosa. Lençóis limpos.

Cons:

A cama extra realmente não deveria ter esse nome. Talvez um saco de dormir fosse melhor. Completamente em descompasso com a categoria do hotel. Precisariam rever isso urgente.

A pousada tem acesso direito ao castelo, alguns aptos ficam dentro do próprio castelo. Os funcionários são atenciosos e educados. Foi uma experiência inesquecível!

Amazing place, just like in a fairytail

It was a magical place, so authentic and well kept. Everything was very clean and the staff were very service minded and helpful.

Fantastic - take the oppurtunity to stay in a castle whenever you can!
Pros:

Rooms were great with renovated facilities, although the bathroom was quite tight.
Breakfast was exceptional, and our stay was great with direct access to the town / castle walls.
Transport direct to reception and luggage transfer was a little problematic, however the team were overall very helpful.

I don’t get the notice that they provide a transfer / the walk wouldn’t have been so bad except my uber driver dropped me off by a side gate - so it was cobbles and steps the whole 20 min up - if I had been left at the Main Street it had a flat 1 stone width path in the middle for easier suitcase moving - but it was a minor hiccup as the hotel and town is so beautiful

Experiência gostosa!
Pros:

Localização incrível e ambiente acolhedor.

Cons:

Único ponto de atenção é que não conseguimos falar com a Pousada por mensagens, eles demoram muito a responder e no WhatsApp, que seria mais prático, até pra reservar o restaurante, eles não respondem em momento algum.

Unique experience to stay in a medieval castle. Dinner in the Hôtel restaurant also great experience in grand old dining room area.

Lovely location good for 1/2 nights.
Pros:

Location, although hard to get to and having to walk up to the Castle for Breakfast was a bit of a pain.

Cons:

No pool, plus the walk to breakfast every morning. Okay for 1 night. Also no Bar Area as such. Plus needs sound proofing.
Also the musty smell in the Castle is quite strong.

Exceptional unique location, stunning historical interiors.

Cons:

Dinner and construction works inside the hotel starting from 10 AM. Dinner: great interior, okay food, but super slow staff (even for Portuguese): 20 minutes to stay before they gave us a seat, 1 hour waiting for wine and 1.5 hours for dishes. You call yourself Pestana, come on, match this.

Disappointing, I felt cheated.

The breakfast was excellent

Cons:

The advertising is misleading in that I thought we would be located in the castle in an ample sized room.
We were located in a small building next to the castle in a cramped dark room. Furniture was tatty and the seat of the armchair stained. Workmen were occupied in the passage all afternoon.

Na chegada fomos recebidas com uma taça de ginginha e nosso check in foi feito no jardim, sentadas no fresco com uma vista linda, o hotel tem paisagens maravilhosas e o serviço é imoecalvel..
O pequeno almoço é enorme, com muitas opções quentes, pães, bolos, queijos, podem escolher que tipo de cafés quer, sucos e até espumante. Os quartos são acolhedores e fomos recebidas com um bolo de cortesia pelo
Nosso aniversário. Tem sala de jogos e chás disponíveis nas áreas comuns, no quarto tem água e cafés nespresso. Recomendo vivamente, pois temos acesso a uma parte exclusiva do castelo. O quartos tem banheira. Um charme.
