More than we ever expected! Everything was thought out, ameneties are provided (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, q-tips, wipes, skin care, etc) Breakfast was safe as a person with peanut/nut allergies, every allergen is identified, made life easier. Staff is so kind and nice. They held out luggage after checking out. We took a free shuttle offered by the hotel to get to Kawaguchiko station. Very helpful,
The location on the lake was excellent and the unit was absolutely gorgeous. Dinner service was delicious and our server was helpful and informative. Once in a lifetime experience!

The stay at Konansou was amazing and the rooms as well as in room dining experience was fantastic. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options. All set in idealic lakeside location.

Our family of four had an amazing time at Konansou! I had emailed them prior to arrival to inquire about local transportation options to Mt Fuji and they arranged everything. The time spent at the Onsen was heavenly. The meal was extraordinary. We had left behind something in our room and they arranged to get it to us before our trip ended. Highly recommend making this a stop on your experience in Japan.
This is my 2nd visit to Konansou. It's a prefect place to relax.

I loved the view of the lagoon. The person who served us dinner was very kind and polite. She explained everything to us and set our table beautifully.
It was very traditional and rooms were spacious. Onsen was great and rooftop viewing and foot spa was a noce touch. Breakfast Buffet was fantastic. Staff were helpful and kind.
we stayed for 3 nights 26-28th April.
we had an amazing room which had a huge bathroom with a deep bath and sauna, a bedroom with twin beds, and a sitting room with a dining room where we had dinner served every evening. we had a lovely time staying at Kawaguichi Lake - we walked all the way around the lake one day. on another day we hired road bikes and went cycling. the hotel is in an excellent location on the lakefront. it is a short distance from the main bus station and only about an hour or so's drive from Tokyo. well worth a say. amazing views of Mount Fuji from all around the lake.
Staying at Konanso Ryokan was one of the highlights of our month long trip in Japan. We had a Japanese style Fuji View with private onsen room which was TOTALLY worth it. We stayed 2 nights which I think is a must if you can to increase your chances of seeing Mt. Fuji. The personalize in room service for dinner was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was good with both Japanese and Western options. An easy 10 minute walk from the bus station. Staff were excellent.
We wanted to experience a traditional hot springs ryokan and this place DELIVERED! From the staff to the amenities, everything was perfection. They treat you to authentic local cuisine for dinner (served in your room) which was incredible. Beautifully displayed and delicious! The hot spring bath was a new experience for us (we are from the US) but it was great. Even better though? The hot spring foot bath in the roof with amazing views of Mt Fuji! It was so relaxing! The spa and staff are also amazing! Loved EVERYTHING about this place!!
We had an amazing stay at the Konanso! From the very first interaction with the staff, everything was warm and friendly!!! Our room with views of Mt Fuji was stunning and we loved soaking in the onsen taking in the view. The highlight of our trip was Sena! He took such good care of us, from the first serving of tea and apple biscuits. Each evening he brought us an amazing meal and answered all of our questions. Sena was lovely and made our stay even ore special, we definitely will return!!!
