Excellent service
The location was close to the downtown. The room was generous in size. The room was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette, dining area and washer and dryer in the bathroom.
It was our first time staying in a room that required a room card or credit card to insert in a electric box to turn the lights on. that took us some time to figure out in the dark. If reception could have mentioned that it would have been helpful. After that it was great.
Access was easy. The whole hotel was in a high standard in terms of cleanliness, location was very straight forward to find when coming to Wellington. We are from out of town
I'm very curious as to why you advise clients not to open the doors to their rooms if the smoke detectors are activated in the rooms, and a charge to the room be passed on if the fire service is turned out and an evacuation has to take place. That is not normal practice in terms of your evacuation scheme for the property . I'd be really interested in your reply. It is also not normal practice to silence alarms yourselves either, which I'm assuming is what you do if a smoke alarm goes off. That is the responsibility of the Officer in charge of the responding fire appliance once the area indicated on your fire panel has been investigated, and there is no sign of smoke or fire. Your managers may need to be aware of the procedures and policies for your scheme. Yes I am a career firefighter. If i was given a bill for an evacuation, I'd be advising the brigade to investigate into the matter and obviously wouldn't pay either. There has been a fire not to far from the hospital there in wellington where lives were lost. You don't want a similar event happen to you.
It was perfect location for our 2 days. Compact but homely.
The cheap noisy dryer in the bathroom. Its not externally vented so it filled the bathroom with moisture. The extraction fan came on every time bathroom light was turned on & it stayed going for 30minutes after, which was so noisy we resorted to using our phones for a light so fan wouldn’t keep us awake.
Very spacious apartment and suited us for a one night stay.
During the night I could hear other apartments toilets flushing and doors slamming shut!
Big 2 bedroom apartment with washing machine, dryer and full kitchen including dishwasher.
Great location, good sized rooms that were functional.
Car parking, was ok but exposed (advised prior though).
The room was a really good size. A small kitchenette and a washer and dryer. This would be an excellent place to stay if you were on business for a few days. Close to the railway station, the ferry terminal, Stadium and parliament. There are a few free parking spaces on site but a public carpark is only a few meters away. Plenty of food choices nearby.
Very limited TV channels. No Sky or streaming services.
The apartment had great facilities; really appreciated the washing machine and dryer as well as the induction hob which meant we could have a break from eating out and enjoy some home cooked food! Location excellent if you are a tourist; walking distance into the interesting area of Thornden and parliament buildings etc. The other facility we enjoyed were the free streamed films available; the only place during our trip to New Zealand we had this.
Good location. Access to gym was best
Very tight parking lot. Could hardly park with how tight it was. Very unfriendly staff. No welcome, very little info, no acknowledgement at all when coming and going.
