there was a distinct smell of faeces coming from the toilet to the point where I looked around the bathroom looking for where cleaning could have been missed.

Great staff and locattion

Cons:

The window would not fully close, and faced a very busy road, so the room was very noisy.
In addition, the air conditioner did not cool the room properly, so it was too hot.

Loved it and will definitely stay again
Pros:

Bed was super comfy and the room was great. The kitchen facilities were amazing. I stayed due to a flight cancellation and was so impressed with the set up that I would stay again. The staff were fabulous so helpful and kind, stored my luggage the next day after checkout. I loved exploring Newtown the next day.

Cons:

A little bit of traffic noise but overall, not that bad. To be honest I was just so glad they had a room for me to stay in due to the flight cancellation and short notice. I could always ask for a room on a different side of the building next time. I was more than likely over stimulated and extremely stressed due to the late cancellation of the flight and being by myself with no knowledge of where to go or what to do. Never had a flight cancelled before.
