It was cheap, but the experience was what you'd expect from a hotel for that low price.
Pros:

Location of the hotel itself was really handy for the needs of my trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a nice touch to receive a free drink for each night I stayed.

Cons:

The bathroom light didn't work. The air conditioner leaked a big puddle of water on the carpet. There was a used cue-tip on the bathroom floor. And the noise from a) the pub downstairs, b) the people in the room next to me (just general conversational level, nothing crazy) and c) the laundry room at the end of the hall all necessitated me using ear plugs.
I thought the pub downstairs might have a slightly bigger range of food available, so the second night I ended up going elsewhere.
