A fantastic hotel
Pros:

The location was fantastic, the room was clean and very spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We will definitely stay again.

Cons:

If I was being picky , maybe a bit more choice for breakfast.

Wouldn’t return unless then made some major upgrades to there heating AND cooling systems
Pros:

The property itself is beautiful. The staff were friendly and the check in and out were easy. Please note, when you read my further comments on ALL of the issues we had, I will prefix these with the knowledge that I did not raise them with staff until check out. Reason being was that we were in Liverpool visiting friends, we got back late and who can be bothered complaining at 2am while drunk and very tired.

Cons:

The room was not comfortable. The bathroom door would not slide all the way shut and this may be ok for some, but even after 15 years of marriage I’m not down with that. The bed wasn’t fixed to the wall so it just kept slipping forward and the pilllows disappeared down the back. However, the worst thing was the aircon was pathetic, the room was stifling and all of the windows had been sealed shut with what looked like no more nails. And when I say hot, here is an example, the water from the shower was scalding so we couldn’t take a shower. At first I thought, maybe this is just me being useless, but then we discovered there was also no cold water coming from the taps, just scalding water. And what really confirmed this issue was when I got close to the toilet and realised the water in the toilet was also boiling hot! 🥵 we mentioned all of this to the receptionist on check out and were basically just told ‘oh well have someone take a look’

Would definitely book again if visiting Liverpool
Pros:

Central location in Liverpool! Just a short walk from the station and the Albert Dock area! Breakfast was excellent! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Aloft Liverpool experience
Pros:

Kelly & Jaclyn were incredible staff and helped us with everything. We had questions regarding the location of the room and they were immediately on hand to help us. We asked for best sights and bars in Liverpool and their recommendations were brilliant: Could not think of more kind, respectful and helpful staff.
