Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Avoid! Complete waste of money
Pros:

Nice location close to Canary Wharf station and restaurants etc and staff on check in were friendly

Cons:

I am usually very easy going but couldn’t let this one go. Did not get an hour of sleep. Placed in room 101, could hear everything lifts, doors, conversations like they are in the room. Woken up to banging as you can hear every guest coming through the corridor and then worse from the cleaning staff whose supply closet is directly adjacent to this room… the room is smaller than harry potters broom closet and had no windows, tv didn’t work and caked in dust. We paid £100 and booked months in advance, I would recommend several other hotels in Canary wharf at that price. Let the team know at check out who said they would let the cleaning staff know… it was evident this was a regular occurrence this is not a room that should be sold full stop!!! No apology provided.

Friendly cosy location
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring the Canary Wharf and Limehouse areas and had easy access to the DLR line. The cafe area was bright and cosy. It’s right next to the Docklands Museum which is well worth a visit. The Docklands Diner just outside is great for brunch/lunch and would thoroughly recommend Mario’s Cafe, a 7 minute walk away, which is open all day most days for food/drinks.

Cons:

The room was cramped for 2 people and there was no space or bedside shelf at one side of the bed. Needed to get the shower drain unblocked. A hand towel would be useful.

Pros:

Centered in Canary Wharf and quiet.

Cons:

At first being located in a different building than the reception and breakfast. But the weather was nice so it didn't bother me.

Good price for London but worth paying more somewhere else
Pros:

The price and access to Canary Wharf

Cons:

The room was next to a car park, was noisy all night, plus the curtains didn’t stretch across the windows and there were bright street lights directly outside the window. Very poor nights sleep, and bed wasn’t particularly comfortable either.

dreadful hotel
Pros:

With views from the hotel overlooking a building site, a walk from the station you feel uneasy with, the hotel is a mere 5 minutes walk to something resembling the actual wharf.

For your £160 a night (single rate) you get a room with no windows (yes, no window), grey walls and the feeling of a prison cell. Oh, no breakfast of course. You can ask the staff to give it to you as a compliment as you forgot to enter the promo code, but they can't do anything, the systems are locked out to them.

The shower gel is rationed at one tiny drop a squirt so it takes 50 pumps to get enough to wash just your face.

They have a 'save the planet' lie of not doing anything in your room for 4 days.

Oh, and the pinnacle of your stay... Your wardrobe is 3 pegs each with a coat hook. Not enough for one never mind two and of course nowhere to put your socks or underwear, but that's fine as mentioned nobody comes in the room. Shower water seems rationed at a trickle too.

Do yourself a favour, go to premier Inn for half the price.

Pros:

The room was lovely and modern

Cons:

Perhaps doors could be reinforced/have protective lining as when housekeeping were talking in the corridor it woke me up

10/10 would recommend
Pros:

I was recommended this hotel by a friend, and will recommend it myself to anyone asking me for recs on places to stay in London. The place was clean and well furnished, the bed was comfortable and the lighting was good. I appreciated the AC, because it was already hot outside. I booked a room with windows and a two persons bed, and was happily surprised by the space I got. The personnel working there was very nice. There is an umbrella renting service inside the lobby, which might be terribly useful if you forgot yours.
