Nice communal space

Cons:

Room given right over noisy kitchen extractor fan. When questioned - give best rooms to people who book direct.
Hotel wasn’t full - so be very careful on Booking.com

Okay can see why most people only stay 1 night
Pros:

Bar staff very friendly and attentive
Food was decent
Great views

Cons:

Room - got a view of the car park despite being 30 guests only and this was supposed to be an upgrade
Better comms around the gym and spa facilities would have been helpful eg towels, changing facilities (none)
Outdoor jacuzzi not working despite being told it was there!!

Will visit again on our way to Banff. Definitely dining at the restaurant!

Really nice views! Excellent room with good lighting and ambience. Excellent restaurant! Chef is 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cons:

The sofa in the room was not comfortable to sit on. It was old, and the cushions really sank in when sitting down, and we ended up not using it again.
