Hotel Hortencia

Very basic for the need. Awkward after hours front desk. No Safes in rooms. Door locks very minimal.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The air conditioning worked very well.

The hotel is close to all the excitement that PVR has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I really enjoyed my time there.

It was cosy and great for a night or two.

The staff are nice and they keep this place clean. It is a little run down and needs skme repairs. But seriously, the kindness of the staff made up for it.

Good economical place to stay just off very loud Romantic zone, great value and nice people!

The people and location is excellent...I was happy to get such a nice place at the last minute during high season. My favorite farmer's markets were close..and everything else I love in the romantic zone was an easy walk also...stay went out of their way to be helpful...I think next time I would like to stay at a balcony room...

Hotel is ok. Good if you don’t want a fancy room. Basic room, ac was great, large shower, strange shower door, beds are a little hard.

I’ve stayed here before and loved it! The cleanliness was on point. The people that work behind the desk were kind and answered lots of questions for me.

Love that i had privacy and was never disturbed and that i only wanted my room cleaned 2 times in my week there and they honored that but cleaned my towels and floor mats when i requested they where very friendly and helpful and outgoing

There was no elevator and the stairs were uneven and the entire structure did not look like a 3 star hotel. It looked like it was not professionaly constructed.

I booked on line and made a mistake on the date. I checked availability for the actual date i needed which was November 30 and they had vacancy which was over a month away from my departure date. I contacted them an hour later when i noticed my mistake and they would not give me a credit or refund. Poor customer service when it didnt cost them anything or have any loss on my account..

Nothing fancy, but in great location, desk & housekeeping staff great attitudes. I will stay here again without problem.

Very affordable place and good location i will be back

The room was run-down, but clean. The bed was very hard. It was very noisy and the windows didn't close completely so it was difficult to sleep. Music was happening all night (Saturday night).

I got this room for an excellent price. Great location. Surrounded by a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars. Short walk to beach and Malecon. Wifi was sketchy. All staff were nice but the daytime female supervisor was always very sweet and kind. Very pleasant. She allowed us to extend checkout until 1:30. I would definitely stay here again. It’s basic, simple but practical for our needs. Thank you Hotel Hortencia.

Mattress really hard, is time to replace it, bad pillows, no internet
