Nice and convenient stay in Bensalem
Pros:

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and as such I enjoy staying at different properties throughout the Hilton portfolio. A trip to Bensalem brought me to this location, which is near just about every chain restaurant one can think of along Street Road between the hotel and I-95. There is also US 1 and a slip ramp onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike very near the hotel.

As I always do, I checked in and chose my room the day before arrival, and that process was flawless. Upon arrival I went right to my room, which I found to be spacious and certainly it had plenty of room for me and my belongings. WiFi, TV, and climate control worked well. Bathroom had ample counter space for my toiletries, and there was no issue with hot water.

Breakfast at most Hampton Inns is hit or miss depending on which hot items they choose to feature, but it was OK for this non-breakfast person.

Overall I had no issues with the room nor any service, and the hotel comes recommended mainly for its convenience to many highways and its proximity to many restaurants and activities.

Roof leaks onto beds
Pros:

4th floor room had a roof leak and our pillows and blankets soaked. manager at night was annoyed . Could tell by the multi layers of caulk they had attempted to repair thru ceiling multiple times. Room dirty and not updated. Tv was broken in lobby. pool closed

Pros:

The Hampton Inn was clean, quiet and comfortable. Unlike other hotels in the area, our TV worked perfectly, the shower doors closed and stayed closed and breakfast was delicious. The other hotel cut back on lots of services but not the Hampton Inn. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a delightful stay.

Pros:

This was a business trip and lucky for me, it was brief. The lobby and common area is fine. Typical for a Hampton. My room was something else. It was very old and poorly cared for. It smelled dirty and musty. The carpet clearly hadn't been cleaned and had rips throughout. The headboard was stained or smeared and hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom was ok but smelled musty. I complained to the front desk but was told there were no other rooms available. I found that hard to believe since the parking lot was half empty. Hilton texts guests and asks about the stay. I complained about the room but was only told that they hadn't gotten around to renovations yet.
The breakfast was mediocre but I expect that in the lower end hotels. I don't recommend this hotel.

Medical emergency and zero help on cancellation
Pros:

As a hilton honors long standing gold member I booked this room thru Expedia and unfortunately had to cancel due to a medical emergency. Betseen Expedia and Hilton , I will be pulling all my points future stays from Hilton and Expedia moving them to Marriot. Complete lack of empathy and truly bad business decision. Good luck Bensalem Hampton inn. Hope you choke on this review Jackie the GM as I have Been reading other awful reviews on your service.

Due to construction I think you should have closed down renovate and reopen.

Construction every where put on the fourth floor because it was thinly floor redone and they had to turn the water off over night twice. The day time staff appeared as though I was bothering her upon checking in
