Absolute bargain, I didn't have high expectations, for the price. A compact, clean loft room with everything I needed for a comfortable night.
Room and shower clean and nice
All calls bar 1 were AI
No staff at the premises
Couldn’t complete check in
Given incorrect room number
Tv didn’t work
Scary being stuck in the hallway trying to get in touch with someone 9 at night
Convenient position. Easy to do self-check-in using clear instructions. Tea-making facilities.
I could not turn off the radiator and the room was much too hot. In trying to do so I noticed that the floor around the radiator was extremely dusty and hadn't been swept or mopped in some time.
Decent en-suite room and double bed
Dusty, hair in sink, broken curtain, pricey
This place is about 5 min away from the Cambridge station and 15 min to the city centre. Convinient location to many attractions in the city.
Bed and blankets were dusty. Cleanliness could be improved.
Only one small towel!, tv wasn't working, no kettle
The Pantry, 1 out if 5
Reasonably central & fairly cheap. Staff were responsive when we ran into issues
Floor was sticky on arrival, there was a damp patch on the ceiling. No staff on site & although responsive were not particularly friendly. Badly maintained & photos were deceiving compared to actual experience
The room was clean & tidy, if somewhat minimal but that was what I was looking for
Close to the station so very convenient for my needs
The rooms were decent size and decorations were nice, and the bed was pretty comfortable too. The location is close to the train station, which we enjoyed, and about a 20min walk form main city-centre attractions (Grand Arcade, Nightclubs, etc.)
The bathrooms in the room did not have a proper lock, which was not a dealbreaker as I was simply spending one night in Cambridge with my husbnad - but I know this might sway other patrons away from booking a room.
Water in badkamer liep niet goed weg; armoedige inrichting; licht in trappenhuis niet werkend; geen personeel ter plaatse (contactless); storing televisie
Nothing really - environment was marshy at the back where we paid £20/night to park (making £80 for two cars) and we were wading through paddles.
The place was like a lodging and not a hotel. The shower room, sink flooded, supposedly white towels were yellowish and very old - thank God for the first time going away, I took my towels with me. Didn't realise I will be going round to get hot water from the pantry - from house 3 to 1. We only stayed 1 night as my husband and my son didn't want to stay another night at Cambridge house Hotel. So we drove back to Kent after the wedding and got home at 2:30am - preferred to spending another night. Perhaps, that's why its "pay on reserve and non-refundable" cuz you knew people won't like it.
Room was very very veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy small and not value for money :-(
Size of the box room
Bed
No person directly available for any enquiries
Location was great, very close to station and short walk to centre of town. Room very decent size and comfortable.
No tea/coffee/fridge in room, however, there was a communal kitchen area where you could make a tea/coffee.
I didn’t pay for breakfast, so not applicable
The mattress was absolutely awful.
I tried sleeping on the floor with the duvet under me, but the duvet was really skimpy and useless.
The mattress absolutely needs replacing. There is a great big dip in one side and it ruined my stay.
