The toilet paper roll provided was empty, only hand wash was available in the shower, and the shower itself was handheld, rather than a freestanding shower head.

Not as pretty looking as in the photos (eg: no throw and cushion on bed). Getting the access codes took a bit of effort. Room was very warm and I asked for a fan - no response. A better bedside cabinet would be good, as would a mirror above the sink. Shower head sprayed water everywhere in the bathroom, and shower gel ran out after three days). More coat hangers would be good. Lack of fire exit signs in corridors (possibly contravening fire safety regs). Change of floor level in corridors could pose a safety hazard, as does being able to access the rooms undergoing refurbishment. Kitchen area doesn’t offer many amenities. TV internet connection kept dropping out.

Too big sink in the bathroom, hence not comfortable and difficult to use the toilet.

Everything else. You can literally normally use the toilet.

- The front door and room codes weren’t automatically sent: I think this is the third time I’ve stayed here and I’ve had to message each time I stay to actually get them, which seems a bit ridiculous!
- The shower gel, etc. provided is always really nice BUT there’s always something missing/something empty. This time, what should have been shower gel was hand wash and the body lotion was empty (a very watery liquid came out). These seem like quite basic things to get right.
- Some cleaning / maintenance needed, e.g. strange large stains on the weird big sitting cushion thing; flooring coming apart between bedroom and shower room.
- Be careful of the low sloping ceiling in attic rooms (I kept bashing my head when getting in and out of bed).
- No shower mat so shower room floor gets quite wet; sink v small and v slow to drain.
- TV weirdly positioned and didn’t bother to try it to see if it worked (never has in the rooms I’ve previously stayed in here).

Poor communication before arrival. Dirty carpets, furnishings and toilet. Air con was stated as available but it was just a fan circulating extreme heat. No person could have slept in the top floor, single, compact bedroom. A member of staff was aware of the situation in this bedroom and admitted they had told someone trying to book the room not to. I had to leave 2 hours after arriving and purchase other accommodation.
I've still not had a response to my complaint 3 days after contacting them.

Very basic, towels old and stained

Would have liked a back door to the parking (we'll probably find out there is one and we just didn't find it 😂)

We didn't like that it was not serviced before we arrived. There was dirty bedding. Rubbish piled up in one corner. Feaces around the toilet bowl. We phoned the people several times with no answer also messaged them on WhatsApp no reply do we had to find somewhere else to stay we were very upset and disappointed as we had travelled from Bristol to get there we want a refund please

The room was not as clean as expected. There was no hand soap or toilet paper when we arrived. The property advertises air conditioning, but it was only a fan, which was misleading. Overall, the room did not match the standard we expected.

Room allocation incorrect

The access to this room on the top floor felt quite narrow, not good if you’re prone to claustrophobia.

Uns wurde ein Zimmer im Dachgeschoss zugewiesen; ich weiß nicht, nach welchen Kriterien die Zimmer vergeben werden, aber ein solches Zimmer hätte ich mir sicherlich nicht ausgesucht. Es war einfach unglaublich, den Koffer über schmale Treppen bis ganz nach oben schleppen zu müssen. Der Boden war nicht gewischt worden – schmutziges Wasser war lediglich verschmiert worden, sodass unsere Schuhsohlen am Boden klebten. Auch die Toilettenschüssel müsste eigentlich hin und wieder geschrubbt werden. Es gab nur ein Handtuch pro Person und absolut keinen Badvorleger! Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein und das Waschbecken eine absolute Katastrophe – es ist unmöglich, sich das Gesicht zu waschen. Die Klimaanlage war die ganze Nacht über unglaublich laut.
