It’s proximity to the station
Everything else. Particularly the fact that nothing was clean. The carpet, the bedding, the towels, the floor. Simply grotesque. The towels were basically discolored, ripped and smelled of mold. The shower was not clean. Barely anyone knew how to use the provided code to enter, I constantly woke up to people just banging on the front door.
The bed was comfortable enough, the shared pantry was ok. The location was good. It was quiet.
They changed the door code and didn’t respond to any of my calls for support. leaving me stuck outside in the cold and dark at 23:20. I was lucky some other guests let me in the building and told me the new code. They sent the new door code the next evening but did not apologise at all…. There were a lot of broken or dirty things about the room: the door handle to the room came off every use; the bed side lamp flashed; brown water damage around the wall and ceiling; heavy dust in several places; the curtain was stuck permanently closed; the shower didn’t work if someone else in the building was using water (not enough pressure); the hand tap was loose in its fitting.

Convenient location and keyless entry was handy. I didn't see any staff, which wasn't an issue but affected my score.

The room was very pleasant and stocked with various amenities. Gatwick Airport is about a 20 minutes walk away through a very pleasant park. The neighborhood is very quiet.
There are no restaurants in the vicinity, but the room had a microwave, so it's possible to heat up a prepared dish one can buy at the Gatwick M&S.
The shower in Room 12 needs plumbing attention.
The place was generally peaceful
But one night there was a loud party with one of the guests and it disturbed my sleep.
Not been cleaned on arrival, i.e. I hair found on pillowcase and towel.

Room was much smaller than on the photo.
High up at the top of the building ,many stairs to reach the place. It was really too much to expect me to hike up all those steps with my baggage .
The room door handle was broken and kept falling off.
One night there was a loud party int he building which disturbed my sleep.
The room was not lockable from inside only with entry I used a passcode to get in.
One time I was sleeping and someone tried to enter the room which was confusing.
The price of the place did not match the service given to be honest.

Absolute bargain, I didn't have high expectations, for the price. A compact, clean loft room with everything I needed for a comfortable night.

Convenient position. Easy to do self-check-in using clear instructions. Tea-making facilities.
I could not turn off the radiator and the room was much too hot. In trying to do so I noticed that the floor around the radiator was extremely dusty and hadn't been swept or mopped in some time.

This place is about 5 min away from the Cambridge station and 15 min to the city centre. Convinient location to many attractions in the city.
