I had a very pleasant stay at Cottage Ganga Inn. This was my third time staying here, and once again, the experience was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the hot water and air conditioning work perfectly. Everything was great. Highly recommended!

For new guests, it is hard to find and tucked down a dirty alley.

The hotel is in a courtyard with a tree at the end of an alley and is a welcome refuge from the chaos of Main Bazaar. There is also an open air terrace on the top floor. Hot water and ac good, though only at certain times. I have stayed here a few times in the past 10 or 15 years and think it is the best place in Paherganj.
The tuk tuk driver from the railway station claimed he couldn't find it, though it's well marked on google maps. Cigarette smoke was drifting through an air vent so we covered it up. No real problems.

Wonderful staff. Location quite good near Paharganj. Delux rooms are nicely renovated and clean. Rikshaw can come straight to the entrance.
The small lane from Paharganj to hotel is very uneven and usually wet and dirty from the rain. Car taxi can not come to the entrance due to the very small lane.

Staff were nice and they held our bags during the day. Soap and toilet paper provided (after requesting). The location is off of the main road on Pahar Ganj so it is quiet but the area outside is very chaotic.
Rooms were not ready for us, the sheet I was given was dirty and had many holes and the blanket was wadded up in the closet and did not smell like it had been washed. Showers were cold. Pillows were not comfortable. The location is in a very overwhelming area.
