I would like to commend Ram (Sundharam) at Park Avenue Rochester Hotel for his outstanding service and professionalism.
During my stay, my room was quite dimly lit, which made it difficult for me to work. I had requested for a table lamp multiple times over two days, but unfortunately, it was not delivered. As a result, I had to work from the lobby using the duty manager’s desk which is the only suitable workspace available.

When Ram came on duty and noticed the situation, he took the initiative to ask about the issue. Upon understanding the problem, he acted promptly and the table lamp was sent to my room almost immediately. His responsiveness and ownership made a significant difference to my stay.

Over the two days I spent working in the lobby, I also had the opportunity to observe Ram closely. He consistently displayed a warm and courteous demeanor, greeting guests with a genuine smile, being especially kind and engaging with children, and maintaining a pleasant disposition throughout. It is rare to come across staff who naturally embody such attentiveness and positivity.

Ram is truly an asset to the hotel, and his level of service deserves recognition.

Room was very clean and nicely done up. Got it at a good deal. Nurul was also super amazing at check in being super efficient and lovely during check in

We booked a 1-Bedroom Suite via Agoda, and it was an absolute steal. 

We loved that the suite came fully equipped with a washing machine + dryer, induction cooker, plenty of cooking utensils, and a water filter system. It was so convenient to refill our bottles and cups as and when we wanted, and there's no plastic wastage either. The room also came with an ironing board to iron your clothes, and a pretty good hairdryer.

I love washing my clothes so they smell nice, though I wished that the washing machine and induction cooker came with instructions because we were kind of confused while figuring them out. They even provided a kitchen sponge upon request (to wash our utensils after cooking), and anticipated our needs by providing us another box of tissue. Any issues, like reconfiguring our WiFi, were handled easily by the front desk.

I would also like to give a shoutout to the team for putting two rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. We finished one roll of toilet paper because it was 4 girls in one room for the entire evening.  

The location is so convenient, literally a 2-minute walk to Star Vista. We got groceries like steak, bacon, pork collar, ravioli, and garlic butter there, and had a yummy dinner for four for only $70!

We really enjoyed the facilities (the pool and gym are great) and the room itself. The bathroom and shower were awesome, and the bed was so huge and comfortable. We love that the suite had a never-ending amount of power points, we could charge our devices anywhere.

This was my first staycation with my partner and our friends, and I’m so happy it was such a great experience. Thank you to the team, especially Alvin, Faiz, and Zee, for the amazing service. When I needed bags for our leftover snacks, housekeeping delivered laundry bags to our room within 10 minutes. We’ll definitely be back.

Located near an MRT station, this modern hotel is a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The room is certainly big for solo. Besides, there are many services that you may use like the gym room. They also partner with a restaurant so that you can just go down and enjoy a meal if you wish. Their staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. Overall, I am very satisfied with their service and would likely to use it again.

Location is very accessible and it is excellent
Atmosphere is very friendly and staffs are polite and very accommodating
Room is well maintained and organize.

Thank you for the hospitality, our family get a lot of compromise, our room is upgraded initially because we have father who is using wheelchair, very generous, after that we decided to stay on our whole trip (1 month) we keep getting assisted 2 of those are Mr. Faiz and Ram who is very welcome consistently
And management mrs. Suwaida and Merlinda (sry if spelling wrong) who are very happy to assist us during our near 1month stay

We stayed at this hotel for a week and chose this hotel due to its location and reasonable price.
I read some of the reviews before we arrived, and to be honest, I would have cancelled our stay had we not prepaid (with no refund available).
I felt quite anxious and worried about staying here, but I have to say, that worry was mostly unwarranted.
Service - was ok, there was one Indian gentleman (maybe the concierge?) who was happy, friendly & greeted us each time he saw us, I can’t say I experienced that with anyone other staff.
Room - a newly refurbished 1 bedroom apartment on a high level, great view. Bed was comfortable, plenty of room.
Safety - we didn’t feel unsafe at any time, plenty of families, business people and singles staying.
Soundproofing - there was a precious review about no soundproofing between rooms, I’d have to say this is true - on our last evening we could hear a woman shrieking in the bedroom adjacent to us, the fact we hadn’t heard anything earlier was pure luck.
There are a few maintenance issues that need to be fixed in the room we stayed in - the tv randomly stopped working one night, and when it did come back on, several channels were unavailable.
We could have asked maintenance to come back, but we didn’t really want the interruption again. No hot water in the kitchen and a room safe that didn’t work - all advised upon check out.
Dining - one restaurant on site, we didn’t have breakfast, but did make the mistake of having dinner - service was terrible, food average & the manager, who we spoke to about these issues couldn’t have cared less.
Was this a reasonable hotel? Yes.
Were there safety issues: Not at all
Is soundproofing between rooms an issue? Yes
Would I stay again? No. Service wasn’t fantastic, and soundproofing of rooms is a deal breaker for me, but it was a well located hotel close to an MRT, mall across the road, and a safe and well presented property.

Close to MRT station and 2 malls. Although construction was a little noisy in the weekday afternoon but overall is bearable. Sunrise view is beautiful
