Novotel Nanjing Central Suning

excellent location in Nanjing city, close to metro stations

Novotel Nanjing is an excellent base to explore the beautiful green city. My 4 night stay was comfortable and has access to the metro, shopping and plenty of options to eat. There is a convenient shop called Lawsons next to the hotel for miscellaneous snacks and drinks. Breakfast was included and there were Chinese and western options. The only downside of the breakfast was that the menu was pretty much the same every morning. My room was a decent size worth adequate amount of power points. Overall I would highly recommend Novotel for its central location and comfortable firm bed.

Horrible breakfast stuff service. Very poor food quality. Disorganized management from front desk to buffet. Room is clean. Convenient location. But depends on the service definitely never come back again.

The property is located in the city centre. It is very convenient to walk to attractions. The staff are very nice and upgraded our room to the family room. We had a very nice stay, recommended.

The location was great but was a little difficult to find. There is good wifi in the rooms, but will require staff to help you sign in. Overall a decent stay.

property need to be maintained: chipped granite floor, leaking faucet. Bathroom curtain can’t block fully (gaps on each side). But the hotel location is great, walking distance to lots of places.

Room smells like cigarettes

The carpet in the room was not very clean to the point that I felt uncomfortable walking around with bare feet. The bed was very hard and didn't have a topper. Good location, but public transport in Nanjing is very good, so I would consider staying elsewhere in future. Breakfast was ok but there were only few Western choices. As Novotel is a French brand I hoped for a decent quality Croissant, but unfortunately they were small, stale and inedible

I have issues with this hotel, although our stay is comfortable.

My card was charged for a ¥990 transaction which I have no idea what it was. It wasn't the deposit of ¥1200 which was refunded to my card. This transaction was actually billed!

I went to their official website to email for a billing invoice but the email address listed: novotel@novotel-nanjing-central.com was an invalid email address that bounced back.

I resorted to messaging them via Expedia but there was no response.

I have no idea what I can do to refute or to clarify these billing, leaving me with no choice but to pay for them.

The service is kind and friendly. The room conditions, however, are aged.

The hotel locates in CBD of Nanjing. The room size is comfortable for two guests. The room conditions are aged. The carpet is stained. The faucet leaks.

Like: super convenient location in Xinjiekou and room cleanness is quite good.

房間整潔舒適，步行2分鐘便是新街口站的入口，出入方便。酒店附近多食店，亦有大型超市，十分方便。

Staff at check in was warm and friendly. However, room condition was poor. The aircon broke down on the 2nd day and since we were checking out the next day, staff did not bother to offer us to change room. The technician eventually brought a fan into the room for ventilation. The window opening was not big so ventilation was minimal. It was a warm and stuff night to sleep through.

Location near metro station and is right in downtown and across from Walmart. Staff can speak English. Thanks to Tina at reception who assisted us and recommended a good restaurant for Nanjing food. Good variety at breakfast buffet. Would recommend this hotel.

Great location with easy access to the subway and lots of local eating places in the vicinity. Pleasant and welcoming staff and a spacious dining room for the buffet breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location with metro a 5 minute walk, with plenty of restaurants and shops all around the neighborhood.
The hotel offers a good breakfast buffet with great hours to serve the business and leisure guest.
Downside: uncomfortable/lumpy bed and some mod in the shower.
Staff are very helpful
