I had a lovely time in small town Japan. Lovely locals and staff
Pros:

Quiet and comfortable. I love the location. The plate glass window in my room overlooking the lake was amazing. Location is great too not far from the train station.

Cons:

The carpet could’ve been updated, but I’m not complaining too much for a beachside hotel.

大きな美術館を訪れたような旅
Pros:

なんと言っても、部屋からの景色が綺麗です。
絵で描いたような素敵な景色。
天気も良くて日の出も見られて大満足でした。
また夕食も朝食も美味しかったです。

Cons:

残念だったのは大浴場がないところです。
車で走ると温泉施設もあるけど、ホテルにあったら良いなぁと思いました。

Pros:

For Japanese standard a huge room with view on the lake, in early morning unplayable.
Best room I had so far.
Stuff was amazing, helpful and very communicative in a positive way.
Always would come back what an amazing nature region. Phantastic

Cons:

Feeling is a bit retro rustikal. What is even not bad and gives a special feeling, like mountain hotels from the 90ts.

Nice Resort in Biwako area.
Pros:

- I could get all requests from hotel that I asked before.
- View from the room is stunning.
- Breakfast is good.
- Hotel's beach is excellent, nice view, could walk along the beach.
- Very peaceful hotel.

Cons:

- Don't have any restaurant in this are, difficult to find dinner meals, have to drive about 15 min to the nearest city.
- Room is a bit small but acceptable for this price.

食事がスムーズにとれなかったことで、旅行全体が後味の悪いものになりました。
Cons:

契約後に送られてきたメールによると、素泊まりとなっており（これはOKだが、）食事プランという説明があり、夕食8,000円、朝食2500円との記載があるのみでした。わたくしは食事の件は到着後に申し出ればよいと判断して、到着後
夕食と翌日の朝食をしたいと言うと、事前の予約が必要との返事がありました。
結局到着日の夕食は外部のレストランを探すこととなり、ほとんどの店は閉まっていて夕食を食べるのに大変苦労しました。翌日の朝食はコンビニのパンにしました。
予約が必要かどうかを事前に私が確認しなかったのも悪いのですが、予約必要との一文をメールに書いておいてほしかったと思います。これまでの私の経験では、翌日の朝食も受け付けられなかったことは一度もありませんでした。

Pros:

It was along the BIWAICHI bicycling road. I got here, on time (they were expecting me)
He spoke English(which helped me greatly)
The room bathtub was very good for temperature and speed of filling.

Cons:

Because the room census was low, there was no breakfast buffet (only a Japanese set menu)

総合的に良かった。　違う時期にもう一度来てみたい。

静かで、窓からの風景が良かった。

Cons:

ユニットバスが古く、浴槽は広いが入るとギシギシ音がするし、トイレはウォッシュレットだがお湯になるのが遅く、冷たいのが出てくるし、便座は温まるタイプじゃ無く、発泡ウレタン系の便座シートが貼ってあって，それに直接座る事になる
