Bra läge, god frukost och helt okej rum
Pros:

Fint att det ingick ett Basel-kort så man lätt kunde ta sig runt. Bra information från boendet när man som vi kom sent. Nära den tyska stationen. Bra frukost

Great classic looks but bad management
Pros:

The location is perfect! The rooms have space and the look is "clasic-modern". A nice inner-court to sit out. Great looking lounge, bar...

Cons:

The staf, the lack of technical maintenance (elevator, toillets, airco), the extremely soft beds (new but feel worn out). This hotel 5 years ago was a lively classic but now lacks good management.

No "obvious" powerpoint servicing the bed
I'm not a big fan of shower gel shampoo and conditioner supposedly all in one but that is probably me

Great stay and responsive staff.
Pros:

Very responsive. Also a great advantage that a Basel card was provided to travel in city. Breakfast was enough.

The trains might be loud at night.

Pros:

Zimmer sind sehr neu, sehr sauber und excellent gelegen im 4. Stock direkt gegenüber vom Eingang in den badischen Bahnhof und für kostenfreie Tram-Fahrten direkt in die Altstadt u zum Museum u Münster - die Tramtickets sind in der Baselcard enthalten, die man beim Einchecken im Hotel dazu bekommt. Delf Check in möglich. Die Tram Nr. 2 fährt direkt am Bahnhof bzw Hotel ab. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite junge Dame an der Rezeption!

Cons:

Kleinigkeit, aber vllt in Zukunft hilfreich: es wäre schön, wenn für nächtliche Toilettengänge ein kleines schwach leuchtendes Boden/Nachtlicht vor/ beim Bad installierbar wäre.

Ideal für Kurzurlaub in Basel
Pros:

Unschlagbar zentrale und doch ruhige Lage direkt am Badischen Bahnhof, großes geräumiges Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal

Cons:

Zimmer hatte kleinere Mängel: die Badezimmertür schloss nicht richtig, Hebel an der Mischbatterie blieb nicht in Position und fiel nach unten, der Duschschlauch war in Nähe des Duschkopfes undicht (Loch), der Fernseher war viel zu klein für die Entfernung vom Bett und die Größe des Zimmers, Bett sehr niedrig und zu harte Matratze, Rezeption am Wochenende nur bis 15 Uhr besetzt, keine Möglichkeit, den Koffer am Abreisetag länger unterzustellen, beim Frühstück gab es leider keinen Filterkaffee

Aufgrund des guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis okay.
Pros:

Preis Leistung sehr gut. Zimmer waren Zweckmässig. Bad eher veraltet.

Cons:

Nicht wirklich ein Hotel… keine Lobby, sehr kleine Rezeption nur bis 18h besetzt. Frühstücksraum sehr ungemütlich…
