Room size was great. Mini kitchen useful except coffee/tea mug too small. Bed was great. Shower/bathroom very nice. Temperature control good. Light blocking curtains important, met needs well! Nice fitness area. Enjoyed rooftop bar until it rained. Did not have breakfast.
We were checked in quickly upon arrival, even though she had booked early. Although Anya and I didn't have a reservation, we asked her to because we were traveling with our dog.
The breakfasts were monotonous, boring and tasteless.
There was a mess because for some reason the hotel started processing my card, 1/2 of a third
The bank cancelled and blocked my cards, then the staff cancelled my hotel reservation.
It's good that there were free rooms and we were accommodated upon arrival,
Although My dog was, as the Dog service charged $50 for it as well.
The rooftop bar was a entertaining and enjoyable. I loved that it had a pool
The location is great, right on River Street and the parking lot is across the street. The woman who handles the breakfast area is the best. She is friendly and welcoming. We had a king suite river view and the room was amazing!
It was cold when we were there and they closed the roof top bar which was upsetting. The first day it was open but they didn't have the music. They thought they would have it the next day as it was forecasted to be warmer but the next day they closed the bar completely. They told us to go next door as their rooftop bar was open which didn't make much sense to me. The happy hour at our hotel advertised live music, food, and drink specials that next door didn't have. It was one reason I picked Homewood Suites so it was disappointing that they closed it and acted like it wasn't really a big deal.

Staff was not very friendly or accommodating
Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful and pleasant.
Should install safes in rooms… it sure why this feature not addressed?
The location was great.
There was mold in the bathroom. Bathroom was dirty in general. Room was muggy/stuffy. Windows were not sealed properly so we had condensation on the inside of the windows pooling on the window sills. General upkeep of the room was not being taken care of beyond the housekeeping.
Hotel states it is dog friendly. We left our pup for 45 mins to get water from CVS for our infants bottles. We get a call from, Tiffany, the manager, stating we needed to get back because they have had several calls about our dog barking. It was noon. She said that if the hotel has to compensate other guests because of our dog then we would have to pay for the compensation. I asked to see the written policy and she could not provide it but said its just something her GM has told her to tell people. We asked for a room away from other guests. She put me on hold and then never called me back.
Overall, not a great experience.
