Hotel Couleurs Suds Cannes we can only praise. We stayed two nights.
Let’s start with location! Central Cannes. The hotel is situated 50 meters from the beautiful Mediterranean public beach. If you need beach chairs etc the hotel can supply.
The parking place in Cannes is like Gold dust. The hotel has parking arrangements for a reasonable fee.
We have a small dog. He was very welcomed at the hotel.
The room was noise insulated and Air Conditioned.
The bed linen were white cotton as were the towels.
Pauline the receptionist was efficient, polite and helpful.
My wife and I can only recommend this hotel. It is a gem in the middle of Cannes.

It was like staying at a good buddy's house. David, the hotel owner who actually does everything for the guests, was always present to help out with anything and everything - he even threw in a few surprises related to the Cannes Film Festival! David provided advice on where to eat, what to do, how to get there, and of course, he took care of everything from check-in to check-out. It is a small quaint boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Not your typical standardized, sterile chain hotel experience, but one that suits the ambiance of the area perfectly - a seaside resort, near the port and Old Cannes. You can't beat the location, just seconds from the port with its great cafes/restaurants, lovely sandy beaches and just opposite a pleasant green park. You can also easily walk to the "Croissette" in minutes while taking in some great sights along the way (impressive yachts, lively beach clubs, stunning architecture...) - a really top location! Hotel rooms were spacious, clean as a whistle and well appointed. The air conditioner, when needed, worked perfectly. It was an awesome stay at Hotel Couleurs du Sud, but what made it the greatest was the warmth and generous hospitality of its owner, David.

David is a fantastic host, and the hotel is perfect for those looking o be in Cannes (for the fest or to tour) and needs a clean safe place to just sleep.

I’m afraid I found this hotel extremely disappointing - particularly having paid an expensive rate. The location is fine, but the hotel itself is pretty shabby. Dated and tired decor. Everything looks and feels dingy and grim. The bed and pillows were firm to the point of being uncomfortable. The super-cheap toiletries (tiniest bar of soap and single shampoo sachet) were pretty pathetic. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. On two of the three nights I was woken by other guests returning in the early hours. The air conditioning worked, but the controller’s display was broken so it was all guesswork. Other features: Broken and damaged curtain and towel rails, a crumbling lintel above the shutters to the outside, and a single paper cup with two sachets of coffee which were not replaced during my stay. I feel bad leaving a negative review as David the owner was very welcoming. But I’m afraid I must recommend that you avoid this hotel.

das hotel isr sicher sehr sehr in die jahre gekommen, die einrichtung lässt echt zu wünschen übrig. vor diesem hintergrund ist unglaublich, mit welcher freundlichkeit, hilfsbereitschaft und organisationstalent die junge dame an der rezeption ihre gäste betreut. nebenbei reinigt sie nocht die zimmer 😳😊

Fantastic welcome and helpfulness from David, the owner, and his staff. David also gave me an invitation to a red carpet on the Cannes Film Festival occasion.
I definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a great eco-friendly apartment completely sustainable. The rooms are quaint and perfectly decorated. I cannot say enough about the location, the place is a real bargain and the location is just excellent..Can’t wait to return.

the staff are very friendly and helpful they were willing to support and help me and recommended me where to go what to do around the city. The room I booked was very nice and clean. I highly recommend it!

There are nice people and the hotel is amazing. It's very close to the beach and the landscape is very beautiful. It is a MUST to stay theee for a couple of days. You won't regret at all because it's very friendly!!! 😍 😍 😍

This hotel is small and friendly. It is very near the beach and old Cannes. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have found in a hotel. Breakfast isn't necessary as there are so many places within 200 metres

Horrible Hotel, the favales are cleaner and I don’t go into details.
Tricky photos on the booking website. Be aware. Quite good position, bad sight and too high price for the service offered. Unfortunately it smells like wet as you came into the reception.
It could be better without any doubt.

Beautiful and small hotel, located just two steps from the beach. The two Lady’s from the reception are very passionate about what they do. Due to different nationalities, they can speak several languages. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you so much!

I moved here after staying in an air B&B. My room was beautiful, small, quirky, had everything I needed. It opened out with big double doors and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. It has a comfortable homely vibe and as a solo traveller I couldn't be happier. They offered breakfast although I slept in and took the 4 minute walk to the bakers for fruit and croissants when I was ready. Its a stones throw to the beach and you can be in the centre of town super quick. Its the perfect spot. I loved it here and would dedinwstay again!
