I was a little unsure about it at first as I was traveling alone and usually won't book rooms that open to the outside and parking lot. But I didn't nave any issues and the room was great! I actually felt very safe there. It was in walking distance to the convention center and several restaurants were close by. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again. It was very clean and well kept.
Parking seemed a little cramped but it was ok.
Amazing location, amazing views, great value for money
Bathrooms can be improved
Friendly staff. Fishing from walkway.
Amazing location to access the smokys park and avoid having to get through the busy town. Easy walking to everything. Good selection at breakfast but nothing fresh and all wrapped in plastic but likely the American way.
Pool was closed, air con is dated.
I liked the location & that it wasn't on the main road. I didn't hear any road noise.
During my stay, the hotel lobby & breakfast area was being remodeled, so breakfast was limited. But other than that, everything was great!
The location was excellent if you're looking to just walk the strip and hang out in Gatlinburg. You really don't have to drive anywhere if you have good shoes for walking. It's right on the river which was very peaceful. I would recommend getting a balcony. It's at the very end of town right before going to the mountains..its only 2 blocks from Ober Mountain and there are a few restaurants you can walk around the corner to, Bennetts BBQ, pizza and a bar.
The only thing we didn't like was the motel needs a little love. Its outdated. But if you're just looking for a place to sleep its well worth the low price.
room was everything needed and better than expected. it was worth the price and i liked it being off the main strip but walkable to everything.
Location was excellent. Short walk to downtown, never even have to get in your car to explore downtown so you don’t have to pay for parking! I fly fish and they have steps to take you down to the river for easy access and it’s in a great spot as well! Room also had a balcony so you can sit outside and see the river and listen to its relaxing sounds. The staff was also great during our trip and were very accommodating with anything we might have needed. Will definitely be back to stay here!
Bed was comfortable, clean room. Loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning & listening to river below us. Staff was friendly & helpful. We recommend staying at this hotel. My husband behind when we come back, we'd stay again. We had a wonderful time. It was peaceful, couldn't ask for anything more. Had microwave & fridge in room also
Well you would have people put that the decor was out dated or something like that well we're on vacation & having a clean room & a comfortable bed & place that isn't outrageous, to stay is what my husband & I look for. So they had everything that we needed. A comfortable bed clean rooms, great views & we had a wonderful stay.
Location was fantastic with access to park and walk to Main Street in Gatlingburg shops and food
Very dated property, could see they were renovating but several dangerous areas for fall hazards. Bathroom was very small considering the other space that was wasted space. Smell of mildew was strong as soon as the door opened to the room. The shower was new but not operating correctly. I did tell the front desk and the hair dryer would not work. Could have been removed from the wall and replaced with one not attached to a wall in that small of space. The cost was just as much as some of the other name brand hotels and we expected better for the cost!
Location
Worn, dated, tatty furnishings. Leaking bathtub faucet. Toilet not bolted down properly and wobbled. Mattress and pillows were not comfortable.
Location, price, comfortable beds
Adjoining room. Could hear people in next room
I didn't like the breakfast choices
And the pillows
I liked the fact we were close enough to town that we could walk.
That my room was "upgraded" to a suit with a non working hot tub and a view that was totally opposite of what was requested and booked. It was clean, and a good price for the time we were there. At first I was disappointed, but I woke up to the best view.. give this little hotel a chance.. I'm glad I did!!
