Hotel facilities are good! And staffs are very helpful! The cleanness are good too. The hotel is near to Ayala Mall and Landmark so location wise is great as specially for family who like to spend time in the mall.
Check-in was quick and smooth - a promising start. The room itself was pleasant and comfortable. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
We deliberately chose an upscale hotel to recover after 30 hours of travel. Instead of rest, we got a room overlooking railway tracks - the noise was relentless. Breakfast was an ordeal: the restaurant was packed to the point of feeling like a rush-hour metro station. I suspect outside guests can purchase the breakfast buffet, because the crowd far exceeded what you'd expect from hotel guests alone. Long queues at every station, items running out, and noise levels that made conversation impossible.
The pool wasn't much of an escape either - it was taken over by a children's swimming lesson, leaving little room for guests looking to unwind.
My husband retired after 35 years from his job in January and this was our first trip of 2026, so this trip was extra special for us.
We usually stay here each year in October for my birthday, but decided to come for the Chinese Lunar New Year, which was on Feb. 17th.
Before arrival, we were worried that because of the Lunar celebration, the hotel would feel crowded and loud because of the holiday celebration.
Our experience was totally opposite!!
Although the hotel was very busy, which we expected...we never once felt like it was too crowded or noisy! There were lunar festivities on the 17th, like the 'lion dance' and we loved it! The excitement of everyone around us because of the New Year celebrations made you also want to be a part of everything!
Below are several points that really stood out for us:
1. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were immediately greeted getting out of our taxi and recognized by our surname from Bryan, the concierge bell staff. With so many guests coming and going, our 'faces' actually stood out. Wow, we never expected that.
2. We had booked a tour for Tagaytay and Taal Volcano, which is approximately a 2 hour ride from the hotel. The Club Lounge staff surprised us with a 'snack bag' the morning of our tour! We were so shocked because WE didn't even think to make sure we had something for our long ride.
3. When we tried to register for our return customs QR code, we found out our return flight had been canceled by the airline!! We asked the staff to please contact the airlines and find out what happened. It took several phone calls by the staff and perserverance on their part to make sure we were rebooked, due to the airlines error. Not once did the staff tell us 'to take care' of it on our own.
As a former flight attendant of 14 years with Continental Airlines...there was always a level of expectation when I traveled and stayed at hotels around the world. I can truly say that the team at Hyatt Regency here in COD always exceeds my expectations....ALWAYS.
The team here makes you feel special, never just another 'face' around the hotel.
From remembering your detailed room preference or something as simple as what type of coffee you drink...they take care of you, with a smile.
This is why we keep coming back...because sometimes "it's the little things that matter the most."

great hotel experience, rooms clean, beds comfortable. staff and room service impeccable. Just don't gamble - i had a chance to speak to a family at the elevator and he laughingly told me, the slots were just eatiing his money. of course they were.

The location is in the best place in Manila, very accessible to hospitals, rstaurants, malls, events, and even for children's field trips.

Great room, near a mall, sustainable initiatives (water bottles, EV shuttle, etc), sarap breakfast which is until 11am but most importantly are the amazing people from Ian at the front door who helped me with all my many bags to the front desk Denise and Jane who served with a smile.and very helpful with my many questions and requests. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful property and amenities. Every single staff member we encountered during our 4-day stay was gracious, courteous and helpful. I think the wonderful staff is what makes this hotel an excellent place to vacation as we truly felt the true Filipino hospitality. We stayed at the executive lounge floor and enjoyed most of our breakfast there as well as the PM happy hour. We did check out the Cafe dinner buffet which was fantastic with abundant choices. We spoke with one of the chefs who said they are basically farm/ocean to table and only use the freshest ingredients. The hotel was conveniently located with direct access to a mall & many restaurants as well as a casino.
The entire hotel smelled very bad and is quite outdated. Need cleaner air quality systems and improved cleaning across the hotel especially in the rooms, hallways, lobby and common areas. It needs a major renovation and upgrade.
Our stay at Hyatt Regency Manila had a few hiccups, but overall the service stood out. We experienced an air-conditioning and TV issue, which was rectified right away after we raised it — very prompt response from the team. We also had a concern regarding the gym regulations; while it was a bit frustrating, we did receive an apology, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the night before we left, the shower broke, which was disappointing so close to checkout. That said, the staff were amazing throughout — very accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made a big difference.
The café is beautiful, and the food was good, making it a lovely spot to relax during our stay. While there were some maintenance issues, the excellent customer service helped balance the experience.

From the moment we arrived, Jestin at the front desk assisted us with such warmth and professionalism, immediately setting the tone for a great stay. Jane and Ritz were equally helpful always approachable, pleasant, and readily available to assist with our requests.
Our rooms were cozy, quiet, and offered a beautiful pool view, which made watching the New Year’s Eve fireworks even more memorable. After five very comfortable days, Joshua made our checkout smooth and efficient, perfectly capping off a fantastic stay.
