not as good as expected
Pros:

A classic building, but is looking tired in places. Our room was good but didn't really have an outside view which I didn't like. The shower was only average.
The family was very welcoming at the Holi festival and included us in the celebrations, especially the lighting of the holy fire to thank God for a good spring and harvest.

Cons:

On arrival at reception we didn't get any information as to things that were going on in the hotel (and it was the Holi festival when we stayed) or about location of the pool and bars etc we would have liked to be given this and local information about using tuc tucs ordered from the hotel not right outside because of safety

Old building and a somewhat timeless atmosphere.

Cons:

A so-called palace that looks more like a guesthouse – that would be fine too, but not for such a price. When we tried to clarify an unfortunate refund issue, we were treated in a frankly disrespectful manner by the hotel management. What a pity.

Pros:

Great property, great location. Main downside was that the rooms were a bit cold. Main upside was one of the drivers Bobby, who was so nice, helpful and seemed like a great guy!

Exceptional, romantic, beautiful, like out of a post card or a novel. I looooved it!
Pros:

Truly truly a hidden gem. Do not hesitate - BOOK HERE! You will love it. So close to all the city has to offer, but wow, how amazing to have a quiet, lovely peaceful hotel to go to. I was so very very thrilled. (also - added bonus, it's just so romantic, oh my oh my... I would plan a wedding here). Big thanks to Wilson who was amazing and made our stay just incredible. :) :) :) We live in Canada and I swear, we have nothing like this kind of experience back home. Seeing peacocks in the courtyard every day was just magical!

Cons:

I loved everything! (Ok - maybe they could work on their masala chai! I like it spicier, but thats my personal taste).

Lugar antiguo y con historia.

Cons:

Los extras son muy caros. El servicio Laundry de 25 dólares para un pequeña bolsa. Personal poco amable y cuando llegamos nadie nos enseñó nada.
Nos dimos cuenta el último día que la pileta estaba abierta y accessible
Bobby uno de los tuc tuc fue un súper genio y súper bien guía. Honesto con el que se puede contar.
