Very basic breakfast. Breakfast bar could be open longer ( closes at 9.30am).

The staff were lovely and very friendly. The room was clean and we had all the basics we needed, including soap and shower gel. The continental breakfast was sufficient and we could have ordered the cooked breakfast if we had wanted. The checkout time was not too early and to be able to drop off or leave our bags at the hotel while we went out on our first and final days was really useful.
It is a perfect location for walking anywhere in Central London or travelling to and from Paddington.
The fridge didn't really work and despite being given fans, the room was boiling as there was no fresh air coming in from the windows, due to the position of the room.
The breakfast was fine but the tea was horrible! Probably the worst I've ever had! The staff were great though.

While everyone understands that there was a heatwave, it was impossible to stay in the rooms during those couple of days. No air conditioning, windows opening only a few centimeters. There was a standing ventilator in the room but too little for how hot was in the room

Front of house staff really helpful and friendly. Dining staff attentive. The room was basic with no air con. Fan provides offered minimal comfort. Bathroom we asked for accessible shower but given one over the bath with an incredibly high step. The TV is far too small for the size of the room. Quality of cooked breakfast was poor value for money. Location is good as close to station and Hyde Park.
If we did stay again, it would not be in the summer as the room was uncomfortably hot and we did not sleep well.
