We enjoyed it very much!
Pros:

It was nice, clean, and big enough for both of us.
We had a problem in the beginning because the information on Booking was not correct, but the manager took care of it for us.

Cons:

It was initially difficult to get ahold of a worker on site, but once we got in touch with the manager to help with our problem, it was resolved quickly.

Pros:

Location was the only good thing and there was no breakfast there.

Cons:

Spa tub didn't work and there were rust spots in it. The toilet was loose on the floor and when we got off it banged against the wall and woke the other person up. Checking in was a nightmare not only for us but other customers. No one on the premises but one Hispanic woman that doesn't spesk English. The room had no decorations at all. We spent $100 less money for a wonderful room at the Marriott at the Denver Tech Center. The value was horrible. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst place we have ever stayed.

Great value!
Pros:

My first two criteria for any hotel are safety and cleanliness, and Pikes Peak Inn meets those two impeccably.

Excellent location! Close to several restaurants and cafes in downtown Manitou Springs, you can just leave your car parked at the hotel and walk. Or take the free shuttle to Manitou Incline or the Cog Train—the shuttle stop is less than a block away. Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon open space, and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings are very close by car.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Apparently it has been remodeled in the last few years. Every appliance and piece of furniture was in excellent condition. Hot water ran hot, and the HVAC worked well.

Even though the reception is usually unmanned, a very friendly and professional staff member is on call, should you need some assistance.

In summary, Pikes Peak Inn met or surpassed all my expectations. It’s certainly not a 4- or 5-star hotel, but it doesn’t pretend to be one, nor charges what a 5-star hotel would. It’s one of the best 2-star hotels I’ve ever been in.

Cons:

I had to live out of my suitcase for four days. There were no drawers or closet to store your clothes. I’d think that’s a relatively easy fix.

Keep in mind that one end of the hotel is right by a creek that’s noisy in the spring/summer. The noise didn’t bother me, but it might affect sound sensitive people, particularly at night.

Exceptional
Pros:

Absolutely fantasic. Could not recommend staying here more.
It was the perfect location for us for the activities we wanted to do in the Manitou Springs area.
They were so accomodating when we had to cancel one night and re-arrange due to our flights into the US being delayed. The room was lovely and clean, great value for money. It made us feel safe that it is next door to a fire station & police station.
We stayed there one night instead of two initally due to the flight issues and returned again for the final night of our trip so we could still do the things we had planned in this area. I had left a pillow there the first time which was kept by the inn and safely returned to me when I stayed again. 10/10 would definitely book here again next time we are in Maintou Springs.

Cons:

Toilet behind a separate door would be good.

Pros:

Excellent location in Manitou Springs, CO. Excellent value for money.

Cons:

On real issue was that the top of the bathroom door was very very dusty. Housekeeping should occasionally clean these out-of-the way places.

Great hotel, clean, modern, spacious, would stay here again
Pros:

Excellent hotel and great value. Walking distance (only a few minutes) to much of what the town has to offer, but also close to bus stop if you want to avoid walking. Excellent room size. Very clean room and modern. Area felt safe. Plenty of parking. No physical staff on property, but they responded fast via phone.
