Less suitable for work travel

Helpful, friendly staff 😊

Cons:

As a work traveller this accommodation wasn’t suitable. It isn’t a spa hotel. It’s a busy public gym and spa with overnight accommodation in a separate wing. I have stayed in many hotels with gyms open to public membership but this establishment is not that. The hotel foyer is actually the entrance to the gym spa, leaving the hotel requires swiping card key at styles used by the busy membership to enter/exit. On the establishments own website it is a club house not a hotel. If your primary purpose is to enjoy the spa, then I would recommend. If you are there for work and hoping to enjoy a swim at the end of your work day then know you are staying in an establishment that is first and foremost a spa/gym. The spa gym is accessible with an elevator to upper level. The hotel wing is not. A narrow staircase and three steps only one of which is marked makes navigation with walking aid challenging. I have read mgt response to earlier reviews on the topic which indicate a lack of awareness not aligned with the approach taken by any other Brussels hotel I’ve stayed in.

Pros:

I’ve stayed here multiple times now over the last two years and everything is really great, the reception people are superb, and always has been. It is a really beautiful and practical environment for the children to play. The people are always the same, which is really nice to come back to such a warm environment.

Cons:

The rules for the swimming pool are particularly inconvenient and disappointing, especially for water obsessive parents (Australian) who want to watch their children in the pool and don’t want to be in swimmers. Honestly, I see it as a huge drawback
