Das zweite Zimmer, das wir nach unserer Reklamation erhalten haben, war sauber, gepflegt und entsprach dem Standard, den wir erwartet hatten. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat sich bemüht, das Problem zu lösen. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut – je nachdem, was man in Berlin vorhat, ist sie ein guter Ausgangspunkt.

Cons:

Unser erster Eindruck war leider sehr enttäuschend. Das ursprünglich zugewiesene Zimmer war in einem inakzeptablen Zustand und offensichtlich nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigt. Nach unserer Beschwerde haben wir zwar ein deutlich besseres Zimmer erhalten, dennoch blieb das Gefühl, dass man zunächst versucht hat, uns ein Zimmer zu geben, das so nicht hätte vermietet werden dürfen. Außerdem sollte man nicht automatisch davon ausgehen, dass Gäste, die nur eine Nacht gebucht haben, geringere Ansprüche haben oder ohnehin schnell wieder abreisen. Gerade dieser erste Eindruck entscheidet oft darüber, ob man wiederkommt.

Central but in a less busy area, staff were all fantastic and friendly! Great breeze put the front to sit for an evening drink during the heat wave as well. Close to underground and train station as well.

Pros:

Die Lage, Zimmerausstattung uns der Service waren hervorragend. Taxis waren nach Anruf bei der Rezeption in 2 Minuten zur Stelle. Im Zimmer gab es Pflegeprodukte von Rituals sowie ein Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen und Nähutensilien zur Wiederherstellung meiner Kleidung nach der langen Anreise. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer schallisoliert, sodass eine Erholung gewährleistet war. In der Bar hab es erstklassige Drinks und Snacks mit Musik durch einen DJ.

Pros:

Die Lage ist hervorragend um Berlin zu besuchen und das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Es gibt beim Frühstück zwar 2 Kaffeemaschinen wobei eine etwas versteckt hinter einer Säule steht, aber es bilden sich immer Schlagen und man muss warten weil die Kaffeemaschine doch einige Zeit benötigt um einen Kaffee zuzubereiten. Eine einfache Abhilfe wäre, wenn es zusätzlich Filterkaffe in der Kanne zum selbst eingießen geben würde.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Hotel was near Unter den Linden so several of the main sights are within walking distance. Very nice local area around the concert hall. Lovely hotel, especially lobby area. Very good breakfast. All hotel areas seemed v clean.

Cons:

Not keen on there being dogs allowed in the breakfast area.
Also didn’t like that the holding charge for our stay included the whole cost of the room (even though we’d paid for the room in advance on booking.com). I was advised this was their usual practice but it seemed odd to have such a large charge pending on my credit card until we checked out.

Hotel Magnifico
Pros:

O hotel em si é lindo, toda a estrutura, comodidades, o quarto espaçoso. Café da manhã bom e bem localizado. Saimos caminhando do hotel e perto de vários locais lindos. Academia super completa, uma das melhores que já vi de hotel.

Eine Junior Suite gebucht, da hab ich etwas mehr erwartet. Tür war angeschlagen, und das Mobiliar im Zimmer schon abgenutzt.

Location, rooms, breakfast and the team are lovely!

Cons:

I had an issue with my room, I was given a room at the back end with no view other than a chimney and a schlep to get to including stairs!

But on checkout I expressed my views and they took in on board and said if I gave them another chance, they’d give me an upgrade. As my schedule changed I did just that and went back, I was upgraded despite a team member confusing a balcony with a French door - but let’s not go there.
