Hat uns gut gefallen.
Pros:

Wir wurden statt im Hotel Denner im Hotel Bayrischer Hof untergebracht (Hotel Denner gehört zum Bayrischen Hof). Freundlicher Empfang, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Pros:

Sauber.

Cons:

Eigentlich ist das Hotel gut (allerdings kein Aufzug, was mit Gepäck bedacht werden muss). Frühstück muss in einem anderen Hotel eingenommen werden, und leider gab es keinen Fön, so dass ich mit halbtrockenen Haaren früh morgens raus musste. Und Restaurant und Bar: Fehlanzeige.

The location would not make up for everything else.
Pros:

The location, the room and bathroom were pretty clean

Cons:

I didn't like that the room was separate from the reception; you couldn't reach anybody if something was wrong. You would need to go across the street to talk to someone.

There was a kitchen in the building which, since the second day, decided to cook something that smelled so bad I couldn't breathe, and the smell lingered in the room and the building for the rest of the days.

There were no towels at all, which I expected every hotel to at least have a hand towel. No internet.

The location didn't make up for the smell. I would prefer to stay somewhere more distant from the old city but feel comfortable and not smell intensely like sitting in a hot frying pan.

The doors and windows are not insulated at all. It was loud, especially at night, as other guests decided to make a night visit and talk in the hallway.

Ideale Lage zur Erkundung, aber spärliche Ausstattung und mäßiges Personal
Pros:

Die Unterbringung war abweichend von der Buchung im Hotel Bayrischer Hof, nicht Denner Hof. Die Lage war ideal zur Erkundung der Altstadt, des Schlosses und des Philosophenwegs.

Cons:

Die Beleuchtung auf dem Zimmer war teilweise etwas spärlich und es gab weder einen Kühlschrank noch Handtücher. Der Eindruck vom Hotelpersonal war freundlich, aber nicht wirklich ambitioniert.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage das Auto steht in einer Tiefgarage ca.400 - 500 Mete weg vom Denner ( Bayrischer Hof ) Zimmer sehr schön moderne Optik sehr sauber , Bett super gute Matratzen wir haben sehr gut geschlafen unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück war auch sehr gut und reichlich was vorhanden. Also wiedermal nach Heidelberg dann Denner ( Bayrischer Hof )

Heidelberg is a great city to visit.
Pros:

Would love to review the Denner Hotel but when we booked in they would not let us stay. Instead they moved us to the Hotel accross the road - no explanation given. The only likeable thing was it had a lift whereas the Denner apparantly did not.

Cons:

No explanation as to why we where moved to what was a smaller room.
When using the shower you need to throw yourself at the water to get wet. Not that you would want to as the water was only luke warm.
Wifi could not be used. Actually had a better signal from the hotel across the street. Ironic as this was the one we where supposed to stay in.
