Pros:

Staff were friendly and a great location.

Cons:

Very dated. Pipes were rusty in the bathroom, bath really looked like it needed replacing. All in all the place could do with a refurb whilst trying to maintain it's old world character but with up to date facilities.

Great vintage hotel to spend a night or two while visiting White River Junction
Pros:

The location in Downtown White River Junction was nice. Four or five restaurants were within walking distance. The suite we had was comfortable. The staff were friendly. Parking was free. Amtrack railroad station is within a 1/4 mile.

Cons:

The shower was a little moldy and needed to be caulked. Not dirty or a reason to not stay here again but a little maintenance would go a long way.

Creakly floored charm with a hint of Norman Rockwell
Pros:

Don't stay here if you want a polished, modern hotel, but if you want vintage vibes and creaking floors with friendly service, the Coolidge is your place.
The vintage charm is everywhere: creaky wooden floors, old brass fixtures, framed local photographs, and furniture that's seen decades of travelers pass through. There's a big helping of homespun warmth and a strong community and family vibe, with just a hint of Norman Rockwell and maybe even American Gothic.
The train horns drifting over from the tracks nearby are strangely comforting, still tethered to the golden age of rail travel the hotel grew up alongside.

What I expected. Enjoyed the interested and loquacious guests.
Pros:

Great location in a revamped town.
The Coolidge has some history, centrally located in a town that has slowly but surely evolved into an interesting crossroads.
Staff were nice. Room was clean. Place was quiet.

Cons:

Hot water was uneven in the shower.
As charming as it is, the building is old.

A Splendid Week that exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

Hotel Coolidge was our delightful home for a week. It was a trip back in time, to a small hotel in a small town. Could have been from a 1940s movie.
This hotel is clean, comfortable and has a friendly staff.
We will return, hopefully next summer.

Charming history stay!
Pros:

Bryan was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was cozy, clean and full of history. I had accidentally booked a twin bed room, Bryan was kind enough to upgrade me to a queen at no extra charge I will definitely be going back.

Nice one-night stay in an oldie but a goodie.
Pros:

Altogether, very good. The only thing I truly want in a hotel room is spotless cleanliness, and you delivered. Minor point: the TV wasn't working. I had only tried to turn it on out of habit, so I really wasn't put out (I had work to do on my computer anyway), but it's something to improve.

I enjoyed seeing this Iovely old building. The furniture and carpeting were lovely. I had an additional twin room attached and was overjoyed to have a mini refrigerator with a freezer. It was very hot the day I checked out, and my cold packs lasted all day!

Cons:

The check in was a little ti r ing because it was after 10 m pm and they wanted to tell me stories about their family. Different person at the desk when I checked out. They noticed that I arrived late and brow beated me a little bit. I have no idea why that would bother them. They weren't even there the night before.

Like stepping back in time
Pros:

Staying at Hotel Coolidge is like visiting your very tidy grandparents. Everything is preserved, historical, sturdy, and in its place. The walls are surely talking! I had a really comfy and quiet sleep on a good bed! Very friendly, helpful staff too.
