Great hospitality, clean room and a taste of history on the side.
Pros:

Tom at the front desk has impeccable hospitality skills. The stay was good. We had a room with an adjoining bathroom. So each guest had their own space, which was great! Any need was met swiftly. It is an older hotel, and I would describe it as quaint. It has a lot of antiques and history and a unique feel. Charming could also be used to describe it.

Everything was ok.

Extremely disappointing.
Cons:

I had no hot water throughout my stay. Despite multiple assurances I would get a refund I never received one, and the staff did not answer my messages regarding this. The hotel has moved from somewhat charming to shabby in the 18 months since I last stayed there. I will not be returning.

Was very disappointed with our accommodations
Pros:

The property is 100 years old. Our hot water took 20 minutes to get warm. As a result, no showers were taken

Pros:

Great location and friendly staff.

Cons:

It was not clean at all. Bathtub was clogged, shower did not get hot, bugs in the room. Bed wasn’t comfortable.

We were very unhappy and disappointed, we think having the right to ask a refund

We found several bugs inside the room, in the bathroom, on the floor, on the walls and on the curtains :-0 and a dirty paper napkin inside the bed. We asked the receptionist to change room but he didn’t do that. He assured us that the manager should have get in touch with us but we didn’t received anything, nor call neither mail.

Disappointing room condition vs cost.
Pros:

There was no breakfast really... only a voucher for the place next door. Not exciting

Cons:

The room was shabbier than previous stays. Usually stay in the pet-free queen but it was unavailable. The cost has gone up and is no longer worth the condition of the room.
