Okay value, central location, facilities run down
Pros:

In it's day the hotel must have been really grand and still has character in a nice little corner of the town. Mattress was okay. Coffee service, too.

Cons:

Today it is rundown and could use a couple of coasts of fresh paint; kind of depressing to see such an old place that is not being maintained properly.

Amazing!
Pros:

It was a charming place. definelty well preserved, the staff were very nice and helpful. They also provided us with a voucher to get a discount at a cafe for breakfast. It was absolutely wonderful!

Cons:

Very very small town, with not a whole lot to do.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel. Le parking.

Je pensais que la ''suite'' serait plus spacieuse... 1 chauffage d'appoint (radiateur électrique à brancher) dans la chambre alors que dehors il faisait 9 degrés mais pas dans la salle de bain, ni dans l'autre pièce. Le chauffage s'est déclenché vers 21h mais n'est pas resté en fonction toute la nuit (p-e juste 1 ou 2 heures...)

We've stayed 4 times at this hotel, and rooms are like stepping back in time, unique. Fun to walk around the building and imagine the hustle and bustle of its past.

Don’t stay here unless you’re on a VERY tight budget and don’t mind mezzo accomodations

People are nice. They mean well

Cons:

It’s pretty ramshackle. Buckets in the hall collecting water from a dripping roof, unplowed parking area, outdated and slightly broken furniture such as the couch in the suite, extremely disruptive noise from outside

Less than adequate fans.

This was a low budget affair

Pros:

Convenient location to stay if family is in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. I loved that the hotel is pet friendly. Clean and friendly service.

Overall we enjoyed our short stay of two nights. Very nostalgic hotel , not sure we will stay again.
Pros:

Liked the older ambiance , room was clean and comfortable and quiet . Except the trains that kept going by. It didn’t bother us we actually enjoyed it. Loved the old style elevator. Only complaint was we could have used a microwave. Location was a little difficult to find. Overall we liked our stay. Not sure we will stay again.
