Wonderful, location to shopping for us was perfect the outlets are a two minute drive away!!! Also the establishment was directly next to I hop and clovers so we were able to walk to lunch!! Love this!
No chairs outside
Clean and maintained
No coffee makers in room
Close to freeway- nice views - good breakfast selection
Our bathroom fan did not work, we also had to go to the front desk to request sheets and bedding for the pull out sofa - we booked the room 3 months earlier and there would be 6 people in that small room so obviously we would be using the pull out sofa.
The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful recommending places to eat.
Building in good shape.
Breakfast was minimal, not appealing. Staff was rude and clueless. Cleaning staff spoke zero English. Weekend rates were way too high for a HIE.
Stay away from this hotel and their incompetent Manager and front desk staff! They will take your money, turn you away, then continue to lie as you try to get a refund. Their front desk manager is utterly unpleasant, unprofessional, and unhinged. She yelled at me for 5 mins as I calmly tried to work with her regarding a reservation they canceled on me in the middle of the night, then hung up on me mid sentence.
Backstory:
I booked a room at this location last minute and paid through Booking.com. When I arrived, I was informed that the hotel had no rooms available and my reservation was cancelled. Since I paid through Booking.com though they couldn't give me a refund and I had to contact bookings.com to get a refund. Multiple other guests with reservations were getting turned away at the same time.
When I attempted to get a refund, this Holiday Inn location lied to Booking.com prevented me from getting a refund. After multiple days of attempting to contact someone at the hotel, I finally received a call back from the hotel's front desk Manager. She continued to lie and claim that I was a no show, stating that she was there when I arrived (she was not) and that she held my room until 3am (she did not). This is absolutely incorrect. At 9:44pm on 5/31 I sat in my car in the parking lot of this pathetic Holiday Inn booking a stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Tech Center (seriously, book there instead). I have multiple people who can vouch for this as I discussed this on my way to the next hotel.
At this point the actual monetary hit is insubstantial to me, it's just about the principal of their dishonesty. It is still unclear if this was initially the result of incompetence (which they have clearly displayed) or malice, but my follow up conversation have led me to believe their Manager should be removed from the hospitality industry. There is no place for her form of belligerent "customer service".
