Location
Definitely needed to be updated. Cracked tiles in our bathroom. Stained carpet, walls and trim very stuffed up and it needed paint. It didn’t even have an ice machine on our floor. We have a refrigerator in our room, but the icemaker didn’t work. We checked out at 6:30 AM and no one was there so we put our door keys in the box on the front desk. Around 11 AM I get a charge on my credit card again. I called the hotel to find out what happened and I was told that they called my room and I answered the phone and said that I was staying another night. Still waiting for that credit to come on my card.
The price was good. The bed was comfy.
The hallway and the room had a bit of bad oder.
Its location
Restroom drawers were dirty and the top of microwave . Our room was located by the housekeeping room I’m assuming… Therefore the door don’t slam me open and close all morning since about 7:30 in the morning didn’t get to sleep much in the a.m.
Attendant was nice, helpful and very kind.
Bathroom had noticeably black hair everywhere

Quick and easy check in. No issues with access. Room request instructions were followed to be away from elevators.
Toilet would not flush. Had to connect chain to flush actuator.

The bugs and the smell
Location was good.
I stayed in room 207, and at first, the smell was terrible—like spoiled food. In the first minute after entering the room, I found three live cockroaches and ants around the room. After some time, I found two more cockroaches. There was also a woman’s hair in the shower.
Location was close enough to restaurants and entertainment. Easy access off the feeder road.
My 15 year old son and I arrived to check in. Male employee was leaning over the front desk with his pants resting below his buttcheeks. Blue undies out. It's fortunate I was not there with my girls.
Clean rooms daily. We saw cockroaches on the second day. Fix the fire alarm system. Five fire alarms in 3 days? Unacceptable!

A/C was not cold . No king size bed no breakfast bath towels looked like they were bought at dollar tree wifi was inaccessible parking needed more lighting. Worst Candlewood suites I've ever stayed at. Never again
