Beautiful building with interesting grounds to visit around. Really nice space.
No aircon, no elevator

Check in no one there we wandered property- not sure where to go , man gruffly took us to room??? Nice place wonderful location, animals dog, peakok, goats, river side location old flour mill!! Fantastic host and breakfast - really wonderful place beyond check in after riding bikes in rain storm to get there. Not easy to find.
Stayed one night with the family and the place was very nice.
Nice quiet place. Rural. Plenty of room for parking. Breakfast rather limited, but OK. charming room.
Bon accueil lieu très calme, agréable, original, verdoyant...
petit déjeuner de qualité
Very quaint and charming, this old water mill converted into a bed and breakfast with an authentic french country feel is simply beautiful and calming.
Outlets are hard to come by but there are enough in the rooms.
Wifi was slightly slow but plenty for low data tasks (emails, audio calls, browsing)
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating with sweet dogs (don’t wear white pants) ooh and they have peacocks!!
What a wonderful place!
Arrived on a cold wet February evening after a long drive and was warmly welcomed by the owners. The property overall exudes history and charm, further enhanced by being greeted by 3 sheep the next morning, then a number of peacocks strutting around the grounds.
Worth trying the local wines there is a cooperative just down the road.
Unbeatable location but not far (10 mins by car) from Cheverny
Will definitely return.
Horrible experience. This hotel was difficult to find and the location description is inaccurate. When we arrived, no one was at the place other than the wild turkeys that chased us. We called out, walked around looking for someone, tried calling, and after 15 minutes we gave up and left. There were broken windows, outside areas in a state of disrepair and when we perked inside it didn’t look any better. There was bird (I assume turkey) feces on the patio table and the sign to the hotel was just testing against a fence. We did not have a feeling of safety at all. We contacted Hotels.com immediately to rebook us, but had a lot of difficulty with that. Ended up booking ourselves into a Novotel and Hs e not heard back from Hotels about our requested refund. Very disappointing.
This hotel is beautiful. Old and classy, wooden beams and original features throughout. It’s very homely and quirky. The bed was comfortable and the room was delightful. The photographs do not do it justice.
The owner is fantastic but speaks very little English. The whole garden is full of animals, chickens, turkeys and peacocks roam wild and she also has donkeys, goats and sheep.
Breakfast was served in a grand room and was delicious. I would definitely go back.
