Excellent and friendly small hotel
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Comfortable and well-equipped room. Parking right outside. Glorious breakfast and a nice takeaway on the morning when I left very early.

It was a nice place to stay.

Cons:

Heating didnt come on till 7am. The breakfast was continal only and I thought a little dear
But we given a lunch bag as we didnt have the breakfast

Recommended place to stay!
Pros:

Recently refurbished and everything was to a great standard. Comfy beds, Quality bedding and towels, modern bathroom fittings, etc.
Staff very friendly and keen to help, arranged early evening meal as we were out in the evening. Great stay!

Lovely night away when visiting kielder observatory
Pros:

We visited stayed at grapes hotel for one night whilst in the area to visit kielder observatory. The rooms was compact but clean with all facilities we could’ve needed. We ate downstairs in the restaurant, food was lovely and staff couldn’t do enough for us.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Great wee hotel in Newcastleton
Pros:

Great little hotel. Rooms were absolutely spotless. I just needed a single bed to crash for the night and it was perfect for that. Loved the wonky floors in the old building. The bar was also really nice for a bit of relaxation before going to bed. Shout out to Steve, a great host and super knowledgeable on everything related to whisky. There is also a fantastic whisky shop at the hotel called "Nothing but whisky", which stocks hundreds of different whiskies including rare and discontinued whiskies. The highligh of my stay :) . Steve was also very accommodating allowing an early check in to suit my schedule

Cons:

Nothing really. If i had to pick something, it would be that the water in the shower was lukewarm at best, but I was happy to live with that
