The place is excellent. Very nice historical building with nicely renovated rooms and near access to historic center. The common areas are beautiful. The breakfast was very generous with very wide selection. I have noting to complain about. I would stay again.
Historic building. Delightful rooms.
5 star by rating. Service 3 star. With the exception of the large cities (Madrid/Barca), hospitality is not an aspirational industry in Spain. Spa was shut- for servicing. No one cared. Main bar - limited choice, poor delivery.
Segovia - is a city in the autonomous community of Castile and León also the capital and most populated municipality of the Province of Segovia. Segovia is located near the Eresma river course - a second-order tributary of the Douro and close to the northwestern slope of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains which is a subrange of the Sistema Central - the main route of the Camino de Santiago de Madrid passes through the city. Segovia is perhaps best known for its remarkable Roman aqueduct, which dominates the city skyline with its impressive double-tiered arches. This ancient engineering marvel, constructed without mortar, is one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in Europe and has become a symbol of the city. Segovia is also celebrated for its fairy-tale Alcázar, a castle that inspired countless legends and offers commanding views over the surrounding plains. After a long, hot and tiring journey the 5* welcome was well received with valet/porter to to carry our cases and show us to our Room 304. Absolutely stunning overlooking the terraced garden with spectacular vista across the valley. Segovian dinner tapas style at the Jazz Bar - Super Lunch at Cafe Vogue. Walking along the ramparts to visit the Gothic Herrerian castle is
a must!
