The room was very smartly appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the pub downstairs were great, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location and proximity to parking were excellent. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great little gem in Manchester
Pros:

Great little gem in amazing area of Manchester. The bar beside the hotel is very good and there's plenty of restaurants and bars around. Close to everything and the staff was very helpful.

Cons:

The size of the room and the fact that you have to stay with curtains. But who stays in room anyway :)

Great stay overall Breakfast not as good as it was
Pros:

Lovely room great staff great location

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing. Stayed several times before and breakfast was fantastic. This time it was dry , as though the food had been stood under a heater for too long .

Moderno pero algunos fallos.
Pros:

Celebrate what Manchester has to offer and relax in comfort and luxury
Pros:

Abel Heywood Boutique Hotel

The hotel’s exterior blends seamlessly with the traditional character of the Northern Quarter.
The welcoming entrance leads smoothly from traditional styling into modern, practical corridors serving the bedrooms.
Its excellent location is within walking distance of the Northern Quarter’s attractions and Piccadilly railway station.

A well-presented English breakfast is served with cereals, pastries, toast, and hot tea and coffee.

The well-stocked bar also offers an excellent lunch and dinner menu.

The steak and ale pie was superb, served with seasonal vegetables, tasty gravy, and a choice of chips or mashed potato.

Special thanks to Elliot for his attentive assistance with the bar, catering, and administrative details.
The bedroom is tastefully decorated in a modern style and features a comfortable bed.
The modern bathroom features an extra-large shower cubicle with an overhead rainfall shower and an adjustable hand shower for added convenience.

I look forward to returning and experiencing Manchester at its best.
