Nice but not geared towards tourists
Pros:

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! We got the feeling this hotel is more geared towards businesspeople from Kathmandu rather than tourists and the prices for anything at the resort reflected this. We didn’t really eat at the restaurant for dinner ($10 for breakfast buffet, $16 for dinner), preferring to walk into Godavari and eat for a fraction of the cost. The staff were not as friendly as other places we have stayed and also seemed a bit confused when we wanted to leave the resort to go sightseeing! However they did help us get taxis by showing us how to use Pathao (similar to Uber).

Pros:

In deluxe, two beds joined to make one single bed and two matresses joined to make single bed. Thats the stupid idea in such kind of resort.

No spa and wellness and bad food
Pros:

There was no spa or wellness opening despite it say it was there. The food is really really bad. I unfortunately can not recommend this hotel.

This hotel collapsed during the 2015 earthquakes
Pros:

This hotel no longer exists; it is closed since it collapsed during the earthquake. Yet many booking sites still offer it. I should have clued in by there being no contact information anywhere - the travel sites or their (still up) hotel site.
