I didn't like anything everything
No hot water dirty rooms and bedding very expensive bar
The staff were very friendly, the breakfast and evening meal was excellent and the location was a great start for a motorcycle tour of Wales
Road noise could be a problem, the bed was a little firm. Strangely decorated
The food was excellent and the rooms comfortable. The highlight really though was Trish the GM (and pizza girl!) She made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her.
Terrible mattress.
The Beaufort Breakfast was superb as was the evening meal
No hot water first thing in the morning (7.30am). We had to have breakfast and then return to our room for a shower.
Location fine staff were fine especially Trish the manager who helped out with our problem.
Having to do my own toast after having my scrambled egg served on a plate
The restaurant and bar were to our liking and the staff were friendly.
Our room was described as a a deluxe double, and it clearly wasn’t deluxe. Unfortunately the room was in desperate need of renovation, the bathroom ceiling was full of what looked like mould under the plaster/wallpaper. It just was definitely not deluxe.
Not for anyone who expects hot water services to the en-suite in their room.
Hotel reception are well aware of the problem with hot water but continue to let the rooms…..and give no advance warning on arrival - just wait for the visitor to find out after checking in.
So wanted to support a local business, but basic services such as access to hot water really have to be in place if offering overnight accommodation.
Had to check out early, and find an alternative place to stay, with working shower!
Absence of hot water to room and lack of ownership of the issue by hotel.
Lack of response when issue raised via Booking.com; awaiting refund as room was not as advertised.
Huge..best black pudding ! Nice choice of items.
Very quiet location, free parking, modern room with lovely view.
2 older Ladies on reception not very welcoming. Grateful for the 2 young waitresses much kinder and more helpful.
We had a lovely meal, lovely location excellent stay. Parking was good.
Not a lot
Everything
They had an EV charger in their car park. It was a slow charger, but left overnight it meant we didn't have to make a journey to charge up.
Curtains didn't have blackout linings
Good location for our purposes. Good food.
No hot water in our bathroom at all. I requested a quiet room but that given was subject to hideous noise in the early hours of the mornings.
Location great clean and tidy very quaint
No hot water
Excellent staff. Excellent food and general facilities.
Room No 10 should not be used as a guest room. Very poor standard and not worthy of this excellent hotel.
Excellent location. Very welcoming
No hit water in the morning.
