Warm welcome pleasant and efficient staff comfortable room ,everything worked. Great meal service was attentive but not pushy in an interestingly decorated and furnished dining area. Some great pieces , lamps, ornaments . Good nights sleep in quiet surroundings despite being in the centre of the village .Recommended !

Staff very friendly
Hotel was excellent and was much better than we thought it would be. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room at the front had an excellent view and was very quiet.
The restaurant on site was very good, in both quality and value and service.

A welcoming inn, in an excellent location. Friendly staff, quiet clean room and a good breakfast.
We had the most wonderful time at The Beaufort – what a gem! The location is perfect, right in the charming village of Raglan and just a short stroll from the stunning Raglan Castle. We spent a fantastic afternoon exploring the castle's impressive ruins, and coming back to the inn felt like the ideal way to unwind.
The pub area is wonderfully cosy, with a roaring fireplace that made chilly evenings feel so welcoming and atmospheric. We spent hours relaxing there with a drink, soaking up the warm, friendly vibe – it's exactly what you want from a traditional coaching inn.
The staff were outstanding: genuinely warm, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. And the dinner in the restaurant? Truly excellent.
If you're visiting Raglan or exploring Monmouthshire, The Beaufort is a must. Historic charm, cosy comforts, amazing hospitality, and delicious food – we can't recommend it highly enough.
We'll definitely be back!
Highly recommended!

We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were excellent. As well as being tasty and good value, the staff went above and beyond taking care of us, they were so attentive, and friendly. We only stayed one night, but felt like we were part of the family. The hotel was truly dog friendly and gave a warm special welcome to our two dogs.
