The hot tub was not working and we were not informed of this
CHeck in 4 pm?? 5pm? Tried again 630 pm… tried 730 pm and could not say when room would be ready. We found another hotel.
Severely understaffed, Breakfast was reported as horrible from friends who waited it out for a room.
ĎO NOT STAY HERE!!
Location only
Hot tub was broken. Air conditioning was inadequate. Gaps in windows letting hot air and bugs into room. No blackout curtains so 5 AM sunrise beamed into room. Staff was unresponsive and so was manager.
Location to bayfront festival
Digs barking in room next to us all night, bedding seemed unclean, slept on top of bedding
This is a beautiful hotel in an historic building at Canal Park. Shops and the Aerial Bridge are just outside the door. Free parking available across the street. We had a 2 BR/2B room with plenty of space. The only drawbacks of the suite we had are 1. there was no way to close the curtains and sunrise woke us up early. 2. If you want to watch TV in the livingroom, the layout doesn't work as the sofa is perpendicular to the TV. If we had kids along, we'd have to rotate the furniture . There is a mini kitchen we didn't use this trip but would be great for a family trying to avoid eating out all the time.
Very unique venue, good breakfast, located very near the lift bridge.
Our room was awful. One of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Everything about it is poor quality, run down, and has no character.
I like the unique rooms/spaces. Breakfast and breakfast area. We had an internal room which meant no windows. The price should be lower for these rooms, it feels very cave like without a window. I like the full kitchen.
We were asked/advised/told/it never was brought up that their parking lot was across the street and we ended paying for our parking. We had parked in the lot behind the building. Nothing was done even after I complained about this. I thought that was poor service.
Horrible Booking.com & Suites Hotel communication.
Location
Spacious and surprisingly quiet
Good atmosphere
Staff was extremely helpful
......
It was located in Canal Park
There were stairs from the main street up to the lobby and main floor of the hotel. This made it so that luggage carts could not be loaded from the street and taken directly to the elevator. All of our luggage and belongings had to be carried up the stairs to the cart on the lobby level. This is not so good for seniors.
